This is really good info Cerph. I'll add food grade DE to my arsenal. I have gallons of the DE which is not food grade and will continue to use all of that outdoors. I purchased a zapper a few weeks ago and plan to start using it (I had one years ago too that was thrown out). These zappers kill lots of microbes too except what is in the gut. Zappers cannot kill bacterias or fungus or parasites in the intestines. Those are out of reach for the zapper. It is important to eliminate toxins during the time zappers are being used. Should eliminate anyway.

I hope SBgirl and Cecilia and others read this because I think adding food grade DE could help them (and anyone who is weakened). I love all the suggestions on this site. Believe Marie had posted this once or twice too. Helps with deparasitizing. I'll use the zapper for that too. The zapper I just bought was apparently made in Europe. Bob Beck's machines are not the same thing as a zapper. Zappers are more general and Bob Beck's machines are for specific tuning frequencies.

Good explanation for the mite problem

This web site explains the problem of why one person in a household is bothered by mites, while others are not. They believe it's based on a weakened immune system. Not new nformation for most of us, but they do strongly recommend the regular ingestion of Diatomaceous Earth as a remedy. There's more good advice on this web page.http://wolfcreekranch1.tripod.com/diatomaceous_earth_mites.html

Thanks!Have you tried it internally? Seems like some here have tried it in the environment with mixed results? How would you use it in your car iw, and do you think it is as good as it says, to be able to get rid of the mite problem in 3-4 weeks if you´re tedious?Warm regardsCeciliaFrom: "cerph@..." <cerph@...>bird mites Sent: Tue, January 4, 2011 5:01:43 AMSubject: Good explanation for the mite problem

I too am grateful for the little successes. So agree SBgirl! My new zapper did cost over $200 w/postage, so if you decide to get one, you can get one more reasonably. Yes, the Borax makes a difference for me in my hair for sure and fewer of those darn Demodex mites on the face, eyes, etc. In fact, I haven't had any crawling sensations on the face since I started using the Borax liberally on my face and hair and seems to help cut biofilm on the face and the weird acne I have been getting. Things are drying up. Nothing going into the eyeballs and biting there at all, as I had in Oct/November. I have itchy eyelashes at times, but that kinda comes and goes and may still be the Demodex mites. I will follow Hulda 's recommendations with the zapper as soon as I start using it.

So glad you are finding a little freedom SBgirl. I sure wish Cecilia could easily get the Borax as it does seem to help A LOT. But, there are lots of other things that work too. I've kinda overspent for the last while, so have to pull back quite a bit for now, but will purchase the DE too to start taking internally. Great suggestion there and will really add to the benefits with the zapper, which does kill parasites too. So many others have used Borax since I've been going to these sites and it does work - but of course, it doesn't kill internally, so you have to do other things for the internals. It is strictly external. DE could be added to children's food too, as I recall it has little or no taste. It could be added to tomato sauce. I tried it a long time ago in water and not unpleasant but most kids wouldn't drink it. Thinking about you and Cecilia and anyone with little ones.

I have never previously heard good reports on zappers, but it sounds like you have found one that is the exception. I hope it works for you, . If it does, I'm getting one!

DE's chalky taste works best in milk, though of course you can mix it into anything.

I use a whisk for mixing powders into liquids quickly.

I have one for edible items and another in another place for when I am "cooking" things for my experiments :-)

,

I just ordered a gallon of the food grade DE too. I love this site - Wolf Creek. I don't drink milk, but will add it to my food, like yogurt and oatmeal which I eat each day for breakfast. Thanks for posting site cerph!
