for 7 blissful nights I had no bites - no nothing. Now we are back home and

it's all started up again :(. A while back I posted regarding a strange bug i

captured crawling across my cheek. At that time I did not have the equipment to

post a photo. Bought myself a video scope for valentines (pathetic but oh well)

and have run across the same bug again. I cannot make an id - looks sort of

like a springtail (but no little whip thing) - perhaps a bedbug but it's longer

and it's legs are in different spots. We did have bird mites - these guys are

just are newest pest to take up residence. Maybe one of you can hazard a guess

- I don't know how to attach the photo to my post so I will upload it into the

Photos section under the name Buggie.

Looks like a springtail to me. Are you sure the tail is not under since it is

dead? I would treat home for mold if it were me, and myself.

If it is microscoptic tiny, that looks like something my sister and I looked at. It was in the floating fibers. The University of Georgia said it was a Rove Beetle. I'm not saying it is, just telling what I know.

Love and light,

Hi there. I did have my last sample of this bug sent to our extension office.

They said it was a green lacewig nymph....I don't think it looks anything like a

green lacewig from the photos I can find on line. I am going to send it to

another bug id site and see what I can get. I haven't seen wings on the four

samples I've found but I suppose if it is a nymph then I wouldn't.

Ever feel like you just need to put the scope away and start living? I am going

to try to take a break from looking at the samples of debris and specs and bugs

I collect. Just makes me more upset.

Hope you are well!
