Guest guest
I think they are insects not mites, and my fiber critters come in different sizes and shapes. Cigar shaped fiber critters - 1/4" long covered w tiny black legs, they split into dozens of tiny cigar fiber critters. I think these have 6 legs when they are little and more as they grow, just as lice do. They might be mites. Warriors - round fiber critters that seem only to have 6 skinny jointed black legs, which might make them an insect. These take on colors of clothing. Teardrop - nurses, usu see with tiny teardrops - 6 legs, often see naked of the fibers and molting, which is when their bites are REALLY nasty. Even when not molting, the teardrop nurses bite worst than any of mine except the Black weevil mites (they do have 8 legs) in my feet, which are the nastiest biters of all, the so-called pinprick (more like icepick, lol!) biters. Stringy critters - these seem to reproduce by division. They look like they are made of long cottony strands. I have seen these apparently mating and giving birth I THINK. These can look kind of teardrop shape and they have a long black thread that comes out of the pointed end, flexible, with a little hook at the end. I call these the fishhook critters for that reason. They seem to have a bunch of fine fibrous appendages, I don't think I'd call them legs. Fish face, which looks not unlike a white grasshopper, turned out to be a common bacteria that had discovered the crops my other critters planted and came for dinner. And if you have never found a termite with its head buried in your fatty tissue you simply haven't lived, darling! For me, I am trying to eliminate the crop. For this reason, they can no longer dine comfortably under my skin as they were, I THINK, doing before. Now they have to actually obtain my blood to get the nutrients they need. They bite just under the skin or dig a winding trough in the surface of my skin. Both result in a bloody "lesion." If I can get to a sink and wash the area thoroughly FAST, then get ice on it, I can slow the biting and reduce the size of the purpura (hematoma, bruise) greatly. I'm not sure what the white balls are that you are experiencing, but as you can see, critters can definitely live an entire existence under the skin. But you're here now, and it is only a matter of time before you and I both, and the rest of us, kick a__ and take names. We will beat them. kajay From: sandy e <ellis.sandy1@...>bird mites Sent: Thu, January 6, 2011 4:59:46 PMSubject: Does this sound like mites or something else I have been noticing very tiny white things all over my skin.I have some that will be balls under the sking and ifj I pick at one there are tons of them.I got so desperate I used a common perticde on my skin the ohter night.I have done everything I have read about one here.Last winter was when this started and things pricked me it was not until I had things in my hair and now when I use the ceder side I have them come out.I am glad to get them off me and I use the personal body spray and when I do now my skin just makes a foam. This had been going on in ares where I have hair now it is all over and I am seeing these white things and they are so small. When I take a bath the tub is scarey. We just had the house fumigated and now we got in touch with Orkin becaseu we knew we would have to stay one top of this. They habe been good taking samples and examing them but they don't see any mites. Are tiny bumps uner the skiln a mite thing? Are there ever white like things on very close to the top of skin?I can't wear clothes they prick me so bad. Then I infest the clothes.I wear three different pair of PJ bottoms that are big.I can't stand to have my skin touched even my leds touching each other.I can tell that some of these want to make a fuzz ball so maybe someof the morgellons has to do with some tiny insect that makes a ball that is fiber like.None are in my skin.I have two different dermatologist appt this month what should I say and not say.I think if they will look they can see.I have things at the root of my hair and if I were to run a finger over my scalp it would be like ppopping bubble wrap.Is there any hopeI don't know if this is someting else instead of rat mite or maybe a fungus. Please send what you know.I am heading to t he tub.SAndy
