Hi,First, let me sau Moorg/Sanctum is upand running and accepting old members and new ones. Sure do miss you the old-timers.To make a tincture or extract: Get a large jar, dark if possible, cram it stuffed FULL of whatever herb you want to tincture. Now, pour Vodka or Everclear, (Vodka is cheaper and works just as well)over the herbs until it covers them. Put a lid on the jar. Put the jar in a dark place and shake it every couple days. After a few weeks, Viola! you have make a tincture or extract. As the alcohol dissapates just add more to the jar of herbs. The longer it sits, the stronger it gets. After a month, you will have a good tincture. Strain into a dark jar, and cap. This tincture will be good for 70 or so years. Keep out a little at a time so you don't have to open the main bottle so much. Now, add more herbs to fill the jar crammed full and pour the alcohol over them again and repeat the process.Yes. , my

sweet, if the olive trees have NOT been sprayed, (BE VERY SURE) you can use them for making your tincture. You could also send me some leaves and I'll make some as well. Tee Hee LOL.I make a lot of tinctures. I learned from Dr. who is now deceased, but his School of Natural Healing is in CA and run by his son . Google Dr. and you will see his work and can learn a lot.Got to go Nighty Night. It is 4:00 amHugs,g_/gatorLind, check out MS for my Flax Cracker Recipe Yum....eeee!!

Recipe looks so good Mona for the olive leaf extract. Thank you! I am wondering which variety of olive leaf is used normally for these herbals that is taking (and others). Does anyone know? Does it matter which variety of olive leaf is used? If I take cutting from olive trees I'll have to ask owners if it is okay, but sure it will be. Years ago I worked for a botanist at University of California in . The botanist (Dr. Hartman) was researching producing an olive-less olive tree because olives are nasty for an ornamental tree when they fall to the ground. I wonder if those leaves would work just as well as the olive tree leaves that have the olives.

Couldn't sleep again Gator? I'm so sorry. I have the same problem off and on.

Hugs and more hugs,

Hi ,

Wish I could help, but I know nothing much about olive leaf. Remember in the fall when I asked you all if you knew where I could buy it bulk? Well, I googled it and ordered from the 1st group I found. I just took what they had and it worked. That's my expertise on the subject. What was there.
