Guest guest
My Point of View re: Similar Problem Hi Sandy, Do you remember that I went through the same thing several months ago with my eyes? Both eyes. It started in one eye and then moved to the other eye. It was intensely painful and I could hardly see anything at all. Went to ER and 3-4 visits with Opthalmology MD. The eye antibiotics did finally clear it up for me. I had the abrasions too on corneas because I was trying to get these things out of my eyes that felt like a shard of glass or sand in the eye. The doctor prescribed 1) not steroids, but Afloxacin Opthalmic Solution USP 0.3% by Falcon to do drops during the day. At night I was to put 2) Erthyromycin Opthalmic Ointment in the eyes as I was going to bed. I wore the patches over one eye and the second eye too when that became affected. I also had purchased some of the MSM drops that Marie had recommended and started using those. I also purchased over the counter eye wash and the little cup. I washed my eyes 1x a day rolling my eyes all around while rinsing them in the eye cup. It also gave relief. I was told that my condition was caused by extreme dry eye by the doctor. I now know that was not true, but for whatever reason the antibiotics cleared up the condition. I believe NOW that this is a symptom of Morgellons and believe they were not bugs in the eyes, but fibers. I listened today to Dr. Staninger talking about Morgellons. I believe these fibers can infect the eyes and who knows where they are going to infect next in the body. One area is treated and doing well, and then another area pops up. Seems to be the nature of the condition. There is also a possibility that the mites that can exist in the eyelashes, eyebrows, nose became activated and went into the eyeballs--not sure which--since prior to that I was having dry eye, but also lots of itching on the areas where the eyelashes are. I started after that using Borax on my face and don't feel any crawling or biting in the eyes. I just take the Borax dry in my hand after my face is wet and scrub the face, including the eyelashes (be careful--don't open the eyes until everything is rinsed off). The itching (most of it) and watery eyes is gone. I've had no more sharp pains in the eyeballs or feeling like there was glass or sand in the eyes. You got steroidal drops and not antibiotics? Mostly when there is abrasion on the cornea they give antibiotic drops. Are you sure they were steroids? Guest guest
Hi Sandy this sounds like the speck bug , Rita had this bad around her eyes I always use : Betadine , Rita used Betadine in her ears & it helped there , & it always cleared my eyes up I wiped Betadine on the eyes with the lids closed & slighly moistened with water, & left Betadine for 5 mins, then rinsed well, Betadine killed all the bug, usually in 1 application or 2 . if not I repeated . I never feel them on or in my eye anymore. I think the Betadine soaks into the thin skin & kills the bug even in the eye. Before Betadine I felt one digging at my cornea, he died from the betadine applied to just the outside of the eye. It is painless with no burn at all . The derections say do not use on large areas of the skin , the pharmacist said it might cause thyroid damage from over use. (IBetadine works wonders on the privates to. , same applcation , 5 mins & rinse, no pain , no burn at all kills the bug in 1 application , then don't go sit in the same chair without washing it deep with 1 cup spic & span & 1 cup borax & 1 gallon of water & then wet vacuum it out. I like hard white plastic chairs I can spray with arm & hammer powdered laundry soap .) Arm & hammer powdered laundry soap 1 cup per tub & open the eyes up once in a while under water helps a real lot too Also epsom salts 1 cup per 3 cups of water sprayed on the face helps. Never let it get a foot hold . Sandye , here is another approach if the trusty Betadine dosent work For the eyes antibiotic eyedrops stopped them in one ladys eyes, they stopped what ever this simalr bug is in my ears , it works fast. I get my drops from the fast clinic for $36.00 , it works. Sandy I used them in my ears & it ende the bug in there after 10 days of use. They sell optical eye drop thet can be used in the ears also , so if you can get a quick clinic Dr. To prescribe ear drops you can as for optical eye drop that can be used for the ears, optical eye dropare much purerer than regular ear drop, they preszcribed them to me beacaus I told them I had am old scratch on my ear drum & they said optical eye drop would be better , I was for that just in case thei bug got into my eye.. If you want medicine quick clinics are know to give you what ever ' helped me best last time ' I tell them . 30-60.00 for optical eye drop & for ears. God bless you, Bill ps Here is one more post I saved for the eyes This the part that interested me they make an eye ointment for this very problem! I SMG International makes Divine Skin Protection Products, which helps Morgellon sufferers. > http://www.s-m-g.org/dsp/> OK HERE IS THE WHOLE POST PASTED HERE : Back to Inbox Click! Re: FLOATERS that are not floaters in eyes. From: lintbugs_too bird mites Date: Sun Jul 19 19:37:35 2009 Sue - I'm not sure, but it's quite possible. I noticed early on that the demons were affecting my eyes, because my eyes have been bothering me. Not blurry necessarily, but red and irritated. I also rubbed my eye and accidentally pulled out some eyelashes, and there was a thick coating of goo at the follicle. I was confused at first.. the eyelashes landed in my eye and I had a tough time getting them out.. I did notice something weird going on with the surface of my eye, but I didn't realize at the time that it was a film. Since then, I have been treating my eyes with X-clear and refresh eye drops, and have had less issues with them. I also make sure to scrub my lashes well. I do still have a weird floater going on in the right eye. I did buy the DSP eye product and I am also going to try some silver as well. >> >> We tried Colloidal silver this summer when doctors first thought our bites was >> Impetigo and antibiotics didn´t help completely. >> I don´t think it made that much difference, at least we were not well, but it´s >> not strange if it doesn´t hlep for mites.
