Guest guest
Hi , Thank you for the info, I remember you posting a while back about your progress through the candida diet, I'm glad you're still doing so well. It's great that you're bug free now, but it doesn't sound like the candida diet is a cure, but rather a way to "control" the symptoms of this fungus. You mention that you will get it back as soon as you start eating carbs and sweets again? I personally would find it impossible to go on that type of diet for life. What may be happening is that you are leaving the fungus dormant, but not really killing it or removing the biofilm. Is that right? I am in a similar situation, but I reached it without removing sweets or carbs. I simply moved away from the apartment and even city where I first got Morgellons, I got rid of furniture and most infested fabrics, and I did some protocols, like the poor man's biofilm cleanse, I cleaned my clothes, bed sheets, etc, religiously, and after a while I was also bug free. But like you, not cured. Whenever I am in contact with an infested area, I get them back. And after two weeks of being away from the infested area, they're gone again. But it's a never-ending story. So my theory is that these fungal creatures can survive in dormant states forever until they find the right conditions to thrive, whether it is through carbs and sugars, or in specific (cotton) fabrics that are not treated with strong agents such as borax, arm & hammer, epsom salts, etc. Just a question for you, did you ever get tested? How did you find out that the problem is fungal? And did you get this through a vector, such as birdmites, scabies, etc, or how did you end up with Morgellons. And one last question: If you rub your hands with alcohol, do you see any fibers come out? Thanks a lot and have a great holiday season! Guest guest
, 6 months is awesome!!!!!!!!!! Do you remember how long it was once you started eating only chicken and broccoli that you stopped getting biting and prickling? Did you have a biting mite infestation where it all began? Thanks so much for sharing you experience with all of us, z2 > > What were your symptoms? Guest guest
Hi Cecilia, Sure, here's the link and I'm also quoting it for you. How are things going for you? I hope you start to get better soon. Jess http://www.morgellonsfocusonhealth.com/10_poor_mans_biofilm_cleanse Poor Mans Start on a Mini - Biofilm Cleanse We shall call this the ‘Poor Mans Biofilm protocol’ even though Mr. CS has nothing to do with it – forgive me Mr. CS! These will be 2 mini Biofilm cleanse things that you can get started with while looking for a Morgellons friendly doctor.  ∞ One day a week make a pitcher of organic lemon juice (maybe 3 lemons or 4), Agave Nectar or Maple syrup to taste (don’t over do it) and approximately 3 to 4 cayenne capsules. Drink this throughout the day. While doing this you might want to go on a mini fast for just that day eating fruits and vegetables.  ∞ Five days a week, take ¼ cup Dr. Braggs Vinegar and 1 tsp. baking soda in a cup of water. Use good bottled water (spring) and use only aluminum free baking soda from the health food store. For what it’s worth this has been the work we have been doing. It is our prayer that each of you soon will be well and we will all be doing the happy dance together.  Thank you my dear friends for the privilege to serve and I hope this will bless you. Pamela M. Crane Pamela@... Brainy info. Provided by Guberti nancy@...  On Vinegars and Sweeteners Apple cider vinegar which is actually benefecial for promoting good bacteria as well. Organic apple cider vinegar is an exception to the rule about avoiding vinegars. The organic version that contains the mother (a cloudy looking substance in the vinegar) can be very healthy. Bragg’s Apple Cider Vinegar is a popular brand available at many health food stores for a reasonable price.  What to look for when buying apple cider vinegar: • Unfiltered – Some bottles are labeled “filtered,†while the kind we recommend is labeled “unfiltered.†• Unpasteurized – Unpasteurized apple cider vinegar contains the “mother†of the vinegar (a natural sediment with pectin, trace minerals, beneficial bacteria and enzymes), which you can see floating at the bottom of the bottle. • Organic – choosing apple cider vinegar made with organic apples is a great way to maximize the minerals and minimize your exposure to pesticides. Apple cider vinegar is rich in potassium and helps to re-establish a healthy inner ecosystem, your key to strength and immunity. A healthy inner ecosystem is made up of the friendly microflora (good bacteria and yeast) that act as your internal health team of sorts. They aid your digestion and help you get the nutrients you need to stay healthy. Unfortunately, most Americans today have an imbalanced inner ecosystem. Best option is no sweetener whatsoever. Here is conflicting information on many sweeteners. Listen to your body. If you feel bloated and more Morgellons issues then discontinue no matter what the data provides.  Stevia does not feed yeast. It has to be plain stevia like one from NOW in the bottle, not the package since it contains maltodextrin as then it will feed yeast. Many contain FOS and other ingredients. Some patients do not do well with steiva as they experience headaches and nausea. Steviol’s molecular structure resembles a steroid and the effects are unknown. Guest guest
I can't find the post I replied to, but I got more info on the Demodex mite. It does look like what I am seeing in the clear worms: http://uglyoverload.blogspot.com/2010/06/youre-little-eyelash-buddies.html This article on pets with demodex out of control is interesting. It is also interesting to me that alopecia is involved since I've had it since I was 25yrs. I'm 52 now. Since the demodex lives on dead skin, could be the sores we develope attract them and they multiply with so much food available. http://lbah.com/canine/demodex.htm It does talk about hypothyroidism (me) and reduced immunity bringing it on. -- On Wed, 12/22/10, southernbuggirl <jpingolt@...> wrote: From: southernbuggirl <jpingolt@...>Subject: Re: There is a cure!!bird mites Date: Wednesday, December 22, 2010, 7:07 PM I am on day 3 of anti-fungal meds (ketoconazole) - scalp has stopped itching - for now, anyhow and the tingles in my legs are less severe.I may try the anti-yeast diet after the holidays.
