I opened the bag & they got my hand , I quicly betadined ny hand for 5 mins & they died. Maybe a no pest trip ? Heatreat an iphone, ? ? I don't know , anybody have an idea , I had laoned it to the nieghber for 1 month & it cam back & infested me all over , head face, arms , I am starting to think hammer , ......wait , it an iphone , I don't want to destroy it , but is is a menace pocket . .. God bless you Lynn ps Pdidit wrote: all need to narrow down what our main offender is and describe it as best as possible and leave it on your post. I think this will help us figure out what products to use that will kill our particular insect--this way, if our insect seems to be described by another, we can follow their environmental and internal protocol for killing it mine are invisible , some feel like itches , & make bumps ( I soak those in 1/2 cup borax per 2 gal of water , some make bumps 3 - 4 in a row ( I annihalate those with every thing I have , athletes foot medicine , sulfur creme 10 perc & 80 perc hand creme & 10 perc cocnut oil & a & h soap & betadine , some make the infected splinter feeling ( I betadine those for 5 mins then rinse off the betadine & they die. , some feel like fiber glass imbedded , ( I put on a & h soap 3 teas per cup of water some feel like a swarm ( I fog those to death ) some used to pierce me like a needle , ( I box up all electronics & gas w/ co2 from a tube on he tank withthe adapeter from the welding shop , I do this outside ,cause the gas causes brain damage & kidney failure , then I spray 1 cup borax , 1 cup epsom & 1 gal of water on every single thing I have . If the dosent work I soakthe place in dawn dish soap 1 cup per 5 cups of water, I haven't felt a piercer in 6 months , some felt like a dollar bill being dragged up my leg , it was so unerving, nothing would stop it so I used 1/2 cup borax & 2 gal of water & soaked 2 times per day for 60 days & it ended it . This was the worse thing I ever felt. I think it was a fungus , I don't know . ) On Mon Nov 8th, 2010 3:01 PM EST Lynn wrote: >Hi--am jumping in here to give my two cents worth.. > >I think this is everyone's struggle Bluegirl --finding what works for their particular 'mite', insect and/or stage of infection, to give some relief for an extended period of time. If this is what works for you, you could do what I do and mix up a spray bottle of essential lemongrass and/or lemon and eucalyptus / vinegar and ethyl alcohol [ethanol], coconut oil and use this as an over all body spray. I have seen all sorts of bugs on my car top, including a tiny red mite, scurrying along the edge of my car door. But this one that really bothers me may not be a mite at all because even though I have crawling symptoms, this particular 'lint' type of bug is airborne and goes right to my back, ears and head. I see this rise up in a frenzy when I spray my head [only seen under bright lighting] and it is narrow, oblong about 1/8th of an in, with a slightly larger round head area and a tapered sharp tail end. Guest guest
Bill, Have you tried moth cakes? Some here have speculated that the old type moth balls don't work as effectively as the new ones with paradiclorobenezene. We had good control with our clothes with this in the closets (hanging moth bar type - lavender scented). One day I'd like to seal up the computer with this for a few months without opening it up. There are times I still feel flickering around it - no bites, just those annoying sensations that make you question whether it's the electronic component or the bugs! All the best to you. Judy Re: Might help Cee cee or Sandy Older post from Pdidit Hi BillI remember. Sorry but have no clue what to try on that one. My phones I would use the orange on and I woud try not to use them. Short coversations with as little of the phone touching face, ear, or hand. It was misarable talking on the phone. Once I became less buggy I was able to stop spraying the phone and not have to be so constant on how I touched it or it touched me. Wish I could help.
