There really is something to folk medicine and I love to hear the wisdom these women had. My mom gave us cod liver oil sometimes and it was so good for us. She recognized what was missing in our diets.

Have my 4th dr. appointment for my eyes today. An infection which happened in both eyes, first right eye, then spread to the second was like glass in my eyes. The eyes swoll up and I couldn't see. This was sheer hell and I'll always take care of my eyes after this. I had to stop using some products that burned my eyes and back to using very carefully just Grandma"s old fashion lye soap on my face and a natural shampoo with no special oils in it.

My cpap machine contributed to my problem with the eyes. It was always too strong and it would dry out my sinuses, even with a cold I'd have no mucus at all. That mucus is there for a reason and the bones in my nose and face were so sore. Infection ensued and spread to my eyes. I've had to stop using the cpap for the time being. So Monday I have an appointment with a specialist for this sort of thing to figure out what next to do.

I think it was Sandy who had such terrible eye problems. I could relate because my problems came up a little after hers. Hope Sandy's eye problems are resolved.

Kinds of Sulphur

Sulfur given by a doctor, like Bactrim Ds is inorganic sulphur and a lot of folks get sick from it. MSM and Flowers of Sulphur is organic natural sulphur is safe to use . My Mom used to give us sulphur tablets 2x a year to clean us out and get rid of worms. These can still be purchased. I just put Flwrs of Sulfur on end of a finger, put in mouth and wash it down with water or grape juice. I only use a little at a time, but try to remember it daily or at least 3X a week. It seems to help.g_

I'm sorry your eyes are giving you problems. I can't say this will help since I've just started doing it last night. I feel my ears and sinuses are infested because I am harboring a bacteria or whatever in my throat and mouth. Seems the MMS and NutriSilver aren't going there, or fast enough. I dumped a capsal of olive leaf into my mouth last night at bedtime and just rubbed it on the roof of my mouth with my toungue. I Believe a lot of the bumps are gone. I plan to continue maybe 4 times a day for awhile. I know the ears, nose, and throat are connected, but I believe the eyes are effected, too. I think this because when I irrigate my sinuses with pepermint water, my eyes start to water like crazy and I can feel the peppermint in them. Perhaps killing an infection in the throat area will help your

eyes. I don't know. Just speculating again.

I wish you well.

Dear Lynn

Thank you so much! This was so helpful to me and most of us don't have to use a cpap but I've had to for years now, except when I lost a lot of weight and didn't need it during that time. All of your suggestions I'm going to try. I can't use the cpap until I get a different one from Kaiser and will see a pulmonologist on Monday, but the machine I had was supposed to be an "auto" meaning it self-adjusts depending on how much pressure you need at night or whatever your weight. It never did adjust, always blew too air, drying out my noses and sinuses. Yes, the mask while being comfortable was not good (and I found out today through the eye doctor why) that anything blowing on the eyes at night is not good because the eyes open slightly at night. Who knew? I didn't know that. So, the mask had holes on the top of the mask where air came out right into the eyes. Poor design.

But mainly your suggestions about cleanliness are so appreciated. I did n't do too well in that department, didn't really know how seriously it was/is to clean and keep humidifier cleaned up. I'd clean it periodically, and get a new mask every 4 months which they provide. I'd wash it up with soap, and the hose too which I put in the washer under gentle cycle. I've got spare hoses.

What I didn't say in my last mail was that my right eye had a sensation of bugs moving around in it from one side to the other. I can't imagine what they were as I couldn't see them, but felt them. By then my lens was scratched and became infected in one day. So I've learned another lession and that is to never put my fingers into my eyeball trying to get mites out, or Morgies or whatever they are. Then it happened with the left eye. The same story, feeling like crawling in the eye, and lids puffed up and I couldn't see for most of a week, laying in bed, wondering if I was going to lose my vision. Scarey stuff.

When I take a qtip up the hose, and pull it out I often see what might be mites (red), so believe they are up my sinuses and once in a while I do feel them crawling around in my nose. I used to put a sulpher cream up my nose for that, but it is too drying too.

A friend of mine had the same cpap machine I have and had the same type of problems with it, except no eye trouble. They gave her another machine she is happy with and a different type of mask. She directed me to a website that carries this machine which I might request, so we will see if the Pulmon. Doc will be okay with that. In the meantime I've been off the cpap for 2 days and sleep is pretty sketchy.

I know losing weight would do it, but the last time I lost weight it took me 2 years to get it off, so no instant fix, although I'm paying attention to what everyone of you has said about DIET, Rose, I hear you and Marie, and all of you. Having the mites and Morgellons makes me want to eat to sooth myself, although like you Lynn, I'm having very few crawling, biting right now. Maybe its the weather, not sure. The the cool weather helps.

Still finding some kind of greenish globs in the house on the floor mainly which I look at through the microscope. I sure wonder what that stuff is. Looks like algae or plant material.

Thank you God that the eyes are coming along and no damage long term. Will be more vigilant in the future, esp. with regards to cleaning the machine and what to put up the nose. I WILL do the coconut oil up the nose and around eyes, good suggestion.

Re: Kinds of Sulphur

Hi Sorry to hear this. Is the nasal peice leaking any air into your eye area? If so you may need a different type of mask. My insurance would only cover certain types of mask. My facial structure would not fit any of them. Once I found one I had to pay out of pocket. If I remember right you have a humiditor cup? You had mentioned it would start to smell a little bit moldy after three days. That use to contribute to my sinus infections before the bugs and had to learn to dump it every morning and let it set for 20 minutes with Vinagar in it and rinse and let dry on a towel. Right by my dish rack for drying dishing I have an extra towel in a small space with my equipment drying after all the nasal peices, humiditor cup and hoses are drip drying. I drap my wet hoses which I spray only the outside of the hose around a Braggs Apple Cidar jug sitting to once side on the little kitchen towel. Only soak the hose in deep water with vinagar if the inside of hoses got alot of bugs in there. If just one or two I would just shoot one squirt into the intake valve on the machine and let it run for 20 minutes to let it blow all through the inside of the machine. That chases away anything. I change out and clean my filters once a week. I wipe the machine down with White distilled vinagar or my Orange oil once a week as well. Keeps them out of that machine most of the time. Very little trouble with it. I put my humiditor on the lowest setting when in use to put moisture back into the lungs. On humid days I do not turn it on at all. On dry days whare I need a little extra help I use my cold pressed coconut oil. On a finger tip and run it around inside the nose as deep as I can reach with a pinky to protect all the membranes that get the most abuse from all that air rushing in there. Same around the eyes. I would rather use Cold pressed Flax seed oil, but it is pricey. Cold Pressed Flax seed oil heals on a cellular level and many have reported improving their eye sight and even more have gotten rid of Cataracks using Cold pressed Flax seed oil in some sort of treatment to the eyes. Can not remember if that was used alone or along with other products, but I think it was by itself with no other products to aid it.Hope this helps you in the near future. So sorry to hear that dang machine has put you through the extra problems. In bug world no one needs any other side issues. Get to tired out to fight all at once. Hand in there. I went down hill for a time and am almost bug free again. The cha cha seems to take me further into worse conditions then it did before but when I come out I am even more bug free then the last time I had the cha cha. The last two days I have almost been on the verge of not doing the secound shower. So close but if I even suspect anything moving or stinging and I am not sure if its a bug stinging or debre comming out of the skin. I go and do my shower. Got my banana bed bags. Going to triple bag each bed peice and add on the mattress crushed pepperment leaves and Moth-A-Way which has Rosemary, pepperment, and Clove in it. Thanks . Your observations are mine too. I think having them in the sinuses, they can and will go to the eyes, ears, even mouth. I never had them in the eyes before until now, but did have them in the eyebrows and hair. I felt like they were biting the eyes, and just being there the scratches in the eyes appeared.

I am harboring a bacteria too right now. I'll try the olive leaf in the mouth because my whole face hurts right now, but getting some better. I have to be so careful about what I put around my eyes because they are still recovering. I started using the mouthwash yesterday again after brushing so I think that helps. I know these critters hate pappermint and Listerine. I haven't taken colloidal silver for a year or more, but did plenty of months of that. Do you make your own silver and if not, who do you get yours from? I know even Swanson carries it, but don't know if it is a good one. They are all different... I had used Nutrasilver and that was very good. Also tried one Mr. Common Sense used, smaller in particle size. I never saw results from that one.

Lynn, If you could send me a link to the type of machine you use, that would be helpful. A friend of mine sent me a link to the type of machine she uses. Good to know what's really out there, since Kaiser just wants to railroad you into taking whatever they have handy. I have to take responsibility here. I told them the mask was okay though before I ever really used it. If I had known that it blew air around the eyes, I would have nixed it.

Re: Kinds of Sulphur

once they get you a machine ask to look at the other designs for nasal gear. I like the kind whare the hose goes to the left or right depending how you build it. Than it has nasal pillows that go up the nose. The air blows downward. The straps go over the head like a head band and around the back of the head. I use to have the the alternitives. The one that went over my head worked only if the machine was above my head. I slept in my bed backwards so I put a dresser at the end of my bed that was low and could set my machine there. Than later switched to the type like the hospitals use. The hose hooks over each ear and meets at the chest like a necklace. The nasal pillows up the nose. That one worked really well but you can hear all the air noise going past each ear. The type I have now seems to work better. At their office I would have them hook a type I liked up to my machine and sit there for 20 minutes and move around to see what kind of action I would have to deal with. That helped some for me to find the right type.In Light Lynn > > > > > > > > There really is something to folk medicine and I love to hear the wisdom these women had. > > > > > > > > >

Very interesting Lynn. Thanks for sharing that info with me. I used to use the Classic Nasal with the little gel thingy on it for years too, was okay for me. I think maybe I might ask to try the type of mask you have. My friend also uses this one and she is happy with it. I wanted a small machine, but at this point I want one with a humidifier and ramping down features. My pressure used to be a 9, but the machine that caused me all the trouble sure did not feel like a 9 at all. Felt much stronger, all night long.

Anyway, again your replies are very helpful so thank you!

Might have been the way the co. ran its bussiness, but had to go through 3 or 4 machines to get to the one I have. The Apria health care out here has a bad reputation and I have had to have my health insurance go in and step in for me to make them do their job and do it right. They straightened out quit a bit and have very little trouble now, but only after two huge battles with them. But that has little to do with the brands of machinery they carry. Just giving someone used models that are in for repair was the problem and then some.In Light Lynn>> > > Lynn, If you could send me a link to the type of machine you use, that would be helpful. > > > >

I'm using the Nutrisilver. Will go it with 4 more bottles and then I want to try the MMS 3 day 8 times formula. Hardly have any "bumps" on the roof of my mouth and back of the throat today. Last night, I dumped an olive leaf capsal in my mouth, not thinking, and went to brush my teeth. When spitting out, the olive leaf came out with bugs in it. Wondering what it would do if I added olive leaf to the irrigation of ears and sinuses. I need to find it sold in bulk. This opening capsals could take forever to do the irrigation.

LInda,

I am dairy intolerant, but I've been eating a lot of yogart and cottage cheese lately and they seem to help. I am down to pin prick size "bits" or "nests" on my skin from time to time now. When I treat an ear at bedtime, they run to the other ear, sinuses, and throat. I hope to have an irrigation marathon over the 10 days I have for Thanksgiving. I think stopping for work gives them time to regroup. Glad to find the olive leaf. We have just got to attack all their strongholds at once.
