Guest guest
On Sept 3, 2009, my little guy (31 months old now) had his re-evaluation done by Early Intervention. I am extremely happy to report that he tested either right on track as much as 48 months of age in all areas. He is no longer delayed in any one area!! The women involved kept saying, " He is just not the same child we met back in Sept '08. " They were completely astonished at his amazing progress. Don't get me wrong, he still has a ways to go with his speech development, but he is talking so much (I have to remind myself not to say be quiet)!!! A lot of words are not clearly understood unless you are in the situation. For example, it is hard to understand him if you were to close your eyes, BUT he knows exactly what he wants and when I assume what he is saying and get it wrong he tells me, " No " . (Mom that is not what I'm saying). When I get it right, he says, " Yes! " He has an amazing personality and a sweet little soul. In recent weeks, we were at the park and he gave a flower to a mother holding her 6 mo. old little girl. The mother said, " Oh, is that for me? " He said, " No, baby " . She melted! Another mother's little girl fell and while she was consoling her, my little guy went over, rubbed her back and sweetly looked into her eyes to make sure she was okay. He then pretended to fall himself and fake cry. I melted at his sensitivity! For anyone that does not know our story, go to Sept 08 on http://vaccinesexposed.blogspot.com
