Guest guest
I would be interested if anybody has any suggestions on this too. We just got a call from them last night wanting us to do a survey on vaccinations for children in the home under the age of 4. I'm glad that my husband answered the phone he pretty much told them we weren't interested, but it sounds like they might try calling again? Guest guest
Obviously, they have no right to do any such thing, but since when does that matter? I have no use for them, but have you contacted your local chapter of the ACLU? Guest guest
Someone calls you and threatens you? I'd report it to the police. Winnie CDC phone surveys? Vaccinations > I know this had been talked about before, but not quite to this point. > On another group I'm on, one of our mom's has been getting calls > *daily* since the first of August. > > I gave her the advice I saw here & she talked to them earlier on > & explained that she doesn't discuss medical information with > strangers over the phone. Guest guest
I know for the most part she's been simply avoiding the calls. The first call that came in, they were out & CDC left a message explaining it was a vax survey, etc & to please call them back. She didn't want to participate so she didn't call them back. She avoided the calls for a week or so then her 4yo daughter picked up the phone. That's when she explained she doesn't discuss medical info. over the phone & that she will not be participating. Again, they've called every day & she's avoided the calls since telling them no. Her husband picked up the phone yesterday to try telling them off & that's when they got threatening with jail/fines, etc. That's why I was asking for her, because I wasn't sure what else you could do, but you guys are giving me great options to pass to her, I thank you!! ~Marcia~ > > > > > > I know this had been talked about before, but not quite to this point. > > On another group I'm on, one of our mom's has been getting calls > > *daily* since the first of August. > > > > I gave her the advice I saw here & she talked to them earlier on & > > explained that she doesn't discuss medical information with strangers > > over the phone.
