Went to get the Religious Exception!!! What a mission!!

Hello to everyone, I need to vent! OMG what a mission, I went today to the

health Dept. in miami,Fl, to get the vaccinations Excemption for my 3 kids, I

was there for more than 3 hours , waiting for someone to call me, It took them

forever !!!let me tell you I was very nervous and anxious, because i did not

know what they were going to ask me, I've been getting info from this groups and

the GFCFKids, but i don't know, when I gad there my mind went blank!!

I was very wooried because my oldest son is 18 years but he is istill in school

and i was not sure if to get it or not, so I did, I guess they did not realized

that he was 18 and they ask me what age he was and I said 17 just in case, and

then my 8 year old is not from my youngest child dad, so i was scared that they

would ask me for any other signature or something from his father.I felt like a

criminal, that upset me so much that you have to lie or be scared for you

rights!!!after they took me in they ask me if i new that if there was an

outbreak my kids are the first one to live school and the last ones to come

back, and that if i changed my mind , to please come back....they also told me

that when my older son starts in college, he is going to need the meringitis

vaccine that it is mandatory and i ask them if this papers where not enought and

they told me no!!

I am freaking out a little, the way they talk to you makes you feel that , you

are not protecting your kids from what is coming, I know it is the other way

arround, but, this is the first time that my kids are not going to get

vaccinated anymore, and this started because of my 3 year old that is diagnosed

with PDD, ADHD, Speach delay and other issues, he had a (9) Apgar score... you

tell me... so i know for a fact that he gad sick because of the vaccines,so he

is not getting none neither my other kids!

I went to school for him to inscribe him , he is on the IEP program and they

were asking me for the set of MMR that he is missing, he is not 4 yet i told

them, they told me that they did not know if that was going to be ok for him to

start school, so that is why i went to get the excemption.

How secure are our kids in school or anywere of not getting any of those flu or

epidemias??? I know i made the right choice at the end of the day but I am

scared this kids, they get very sick all the time, mine does't even eat much and

he is always sick.... Some of my family think i am crazy when I showed them the

ifo that I gad from different sources.about vaccines and other issues,the only

one that on my side is my husband the father of the 3 year old but the dad of my

2 other childrens, I don't know how he is going to Accepted, I did not told him

that i did the excemption,Hopefully I will not go to jail for lying.

I spoke with someone that she has a website about vaccines and she told me that

the form was not going to help if they do the swine flu mandatory shots in

school, that the only thing i was able to do was, that if they said in school

when they will be coming for the shots to not take my kids to school that day

and that they were planning to do that sometime in October...

Please I need some advice on what to do to stay calm, is there a test or

something to know if the kids are ok to deal with an epidemic outbreak.....
