Guest guest
My son was suicidal a couple of times (meds gone wrong) and I was afraid of the very thing that you described. It's a terrible situation to be in because you need help, but fear the trauma. Guest guest
So in the case that my child ever needs to go to the hospital and they ask if he's up to date on vaccines what do I say? Do I lie and say yes and leave it at that. I figured if something comes up later and they said I said Yes that I'd jsut say " YEs, he's up to date according to our beliefs " . Or do I say " No, we're exempt " or what?? I just didn't want to get into a stupid vaccine issue if we're in a hospital because obviously if we ever end up in the hospital it will be for a very serious reason! Guest guest
Keep it Short and Sweet --- Thank you, He / She is up to date on everything they need to be. Guest guest
I have always been truthful and said that they are not vaccinated. And I am very vigilent about what they do to my kids and ask a lot of questions. If something doesn't make sense to me, then I don't allow it to happen until they can give me a damn good reason why. peace... Guest guest
I look at them as if they're nuts and say in a horrified voice " We don't do THOSE. " I'm afraid otherwise they might give them something if my back is turned, assuming I would approve. My husband recently took one son to the ER and thank goodness for cell phones so I could call to remind him not to let them give vaccines or Tylenol. He once got our dog " up to date " at a minor visit to the vets and I've never trusted him since! Guest guest
Maybe we should just start asking " why do you want to know? " No matter what the answer you can then say, " that's not why we're here. Let's get down to business. " Winnie Re: ER visits Vaccinations > We were just in this same situation a few months ago...
