******************************

" I just wanted to add that, for those of us with a homeopathic

philosophy, allergies are caused not by allergens, but by an

individual's predilection to use allergic reaction to express his

chronic disease. The allergen matters not, and symptoms of reaction to

a particular substance may switch, escalate, or recede along with the

chronic disease state and the other symptoms of it. A homeopath helps

the body heal itself by using the displayed symptoms to choose a remedy

to which the body can react, and if those symptoms are suppressed by

any other means, the disease is frustrated and will find other, deeper,

more difficult organic pathways to express itself.

NAET is suppressive of symptoms, every bit as much as allopathic drugs

or elimination techniques. The underlying chronic disease which causes

the symptoms is still there, and even if you are no longer bothered by

allergies, you can be sure that choosing this route will only lead to

other ailments later. What the allopaths and most other practitioners

miss is that there is only the one disease, with many expressions. The

root cause for your allergic reactions was always in you, cast in

stone, and it is still there, and is or will be the cause of every

other ailment in your life. Having blocked the expression of allergies

will only get you to the others sooner.

In every case, just because a certain symptom has vanished does not

mean that health has been achieved. "
