Guest guest
So my brother's family all had whooping cough. First my brother, then his wife a few days later and now all of his 4 children. Their one year old was the worst - and most worrisome. However, they are on the upside of this. They have been taking homepathics. Some would say naturally - due course, but others would disagree - that isn't my question. Question 1: I have been trying to read all of the posts on germ theory - so am I correct in saying that according to the germ theory being wrong, my brother's family were just all similarly full of mucous/whatever so they all got whooping cough within a few days of eachother? I am still a little confused. THey also stayed at my sil's home and now their sister in law is testing all of her children for whooping cough. Don't know if they have it or not yet. I'm trying to be " scientific " like Jim says - to take stock of real life situations I really want to understand this and connect all of the dots. Question #2 In discussing the abandonment of the germ theory with family " the cry and the covenant " was brought up (the story of the doctor who realized that washing hands between patients would be a good idea and women stopped dying) and how weren't those germs being passed from woman to woman? Someone mentioned that there were still 70% of the women who WERE NOT dying, so obviously the " germs " were not hurting EVERY woman. But then couldn't you say that it was just because they were healthier, not just that there are no germs being passed????? Or the fact that blood and guts were involved makes it a different story altogether? (Not just coughs that spray and runny noses.) Question #3 So the whooping cough just came from inside of them? It is not passed around? There is another family in their church that had it before them (they spent time with them) Am I just too hard-headed? I feel like I am very open-minded, but I just can't make it click. They are under a lot of condemnation from those who vaccinate when they learned that my brother's family didn't vacc. That is really hard for his wife right now so I have been talking with her, but I don't have all the answers. I keep saying that vaccinations don't work they cause harm. Question #4 So I realize our own children are our own responsibility and up to us to keep healthy - but what happens when we do get whooping cough (or whatever) and people start pointing fingers?? Question #5 Then the old tired herd immunity is always brought up - it is " our job " to protect " those that are too young to be immunized. My mind is kind of jumbled right now, but I hope this made some sense?! I apologize for all the questions.
