What are your thoughts on this?

A friend sent me this email, and wanted to know my thoughts on the email she

received today.... I know what I want to say, but know my thoughts get jumbled

and I loose the 'research' and truth about vaccines in my emotions. Can you

guys help?

U know i vaccinate my kids.. and this email is not for u to change ur mind.. it

is for me to help me understand better... can u please email me back ur

thoughts.... if u have the time ... whenever. i just want to know ur point of

view on this issue and what is ur input. i mean it is scary for me not to

vaccinate my kids. but at the same time having poison put in them.... i really

don't know anymore... "

I want to let you know about a new study that came out about a disease that is

very near and dear to me. As you know, my daughter Brie lost her life to

whooping cough before she had a chance to be vaccinated and it is our hope that

you will share our story with all of your friends and family so that we can stop

this from ever happening again.

The journal Pediatrics came out with a new study showing that one in 20 children

whose parents do not get them vaccinated against whooping cough contract the

illness. Because parents are refusing this vaccine for their kids, whooping

cough is on the rise across the country, with unvaccinated kids being 23 times

This breaks my heart as I can't imagine one more family having to go through

what we endured with Brie. Watching my baby struggle for air, go through

invasive surgery and finally be taken off the ECMO machine that was keeping her

alive was a horrific experience that I feel needs to be shared in order to warn

parents how devastating this disease can be. This all happened just 7 days short

of Brie receiving her first DTaP vaccine, which could have protected her. You

can make sure no one else has to go through this. Please protect yourself and

your loved ones and ask your doctor about the DTAP vaccine for yourself and

anyone you know who has contact with young children.
