I figure if anyone would appreciate this, it's my family on this list. Okay, so it's been one of those days. I didn't get much sleep last night and my kids didn't either, so we are all getting on each other's nerves and my husband is working yet another 14 hour shift so I'm going it alone, as usual... needless to say I've been in a REALLY bad mood all day... so I go out to check the mail and lo and behold, there is an offer in the mail to " Get a FULL FREE YEAR " of Cookie Magazine... I I am already saying some lovely things about Cookie under my breath as I open the envelope out of curiosity, and the mug staring back at me is none other than Peet! Cookie used the Amada Peet Vaccination cover to promote their offer... the offer is a free year with the purchase of a year, so it's two years for $12, and if you affix a seal from one side of the card to the other you get a " free gift " , too. Well, instead of affixing anything, I tore of the part of the card that has my personal info on it and threw that away... then I stuffed EVERYTHING else that Cookie Magazine sent in the advertisement (including the envelope they sent everything to me in) into their Business Replay Mail envelope... just to make it nice and heavy! On the back of the card with 's face on it I wrote " This 'parasite' does NOT want your magazine, even if YOU pay ME. Love and Kisses to Peet, the authority on vaccinations! Sincerely, A non-vaccinating mom of two boys in Littleton, CO. " I know it's not much, but doing that was enough to make me feel a LITTLE better about my day! LOL I know the editors will probably never see it, but maybe the person opening the orders in the mail room that day will take a double take and maybe think about my note and wonder why I'd send such a thing... never know who you might inspire to research! Guest guest
I posted this before I actually sealed the envelope... I decided to wrap everything in a thick rubberband to make up for the weight I threw out in the portion of the card that had my mailing info on it. Hehehehehehehe. I'm in one of those moods! Guest guest
Haha...I had to laugh. Maybe just the right person will open it to get inspired. Maybe I'll have to try that with Parents mag. The last couple of issues I've gotten has had something about shots in it. The one was on the cover with the title " how to make shots less painful " or something to that effect. I can't remember exactly. I had to chuckle...yeah,just don't get them! > > I figure if anyone would appreciate this, it's my family on this list. > > Okay, so it's been one of those days.
