Law and Order hatchet job again on vaccination

I'm watching a law and Order episode now (tues, april 28, NBC) in

which the mother suspected of killing her baby is actually negligent

from not vaccinating her infant against measles. The baby died of

encephalitis from the measles. And where did the baby catch

measles? From an Amish boy who wasn't vaccinated!!!

The show seems to be getting worse as I'm watching it . Now I see

the detectives traced the source of the measles from an anti vaccine

activist mom in Manhattan. the cops called her a lunatic, and one

said now his own child is at risk because of her. Now the prosecutor

is worried about the moms like her who are not vaccinating and

risking public health. So they arrested that mom for murder----of

the original infant that died. Proving contagion is circumstantial,

but not in this TV fantasy world.

it's near the end of the show now. the courtroom drama is advocating

that the religous waiver in NYS should be rescinded, and children and

infants should be forced to get vaccinated----in or out of

school. This is a direct assault against CFIC and pro choice parents.

The verdict was not guilty for the anti vaccine mom, but not without

more moralizing about contagion. the show's protagonists are

lamenting the verdict, looking at the daily news from page reading,

" Anti-vaccine mom wins acquittal " . if the show itself wasn't

stupid enough, it ended with one of the distraught parents who's baby

died from catching measles, shooting himself in front of the anti

vaccine mom, after he said to her, " now you killed two

people! " This script is beyond stupid!

For those who don't know, encephalitis is caused from trying to

suppress the measles catahrr with antipyretics. But you won't see

that bit of enlightenment on these law and order shows. the same one

" Special Victims " , had done another hatchet job on " HIV deniers " some

months ago. it caused some tragic consequences for a real life HIV

dissident, Maggiore. But I won't get into that now.

Anyway, it's clear that the writers of this show are ultra pro

vaccine and pro medical orthodoxy, and have no qualms about

demogoguing this issue with sanctimoneous preaching. it's disgusting.

The name of the episode is " Selfish. " Guess who that is! How

subtle! Also designated " Season 10, episode #19 " . If you

missed this episode, it may replay this week or next on USA cable

channel, or elsewhere. (i don't get cable anymore, but it used to.)

Secondary sources seem slim. I don't see any law & order shows

streaming on Hulu or Veoh. But someone will invariably upload it to
