Hello, my name is Mike.  I'm the proud dad of two adorable young boys(3 and 5)

and the proud husband of their mother.  I've learned quite a bit about vax and

the medical community since the boys were born, mainly from my wife.  I've

trusted here knowledge and motives behind the decision not to vaccinate the

boys.  Now, i can only be proud at the decision we have made on this issue. 

They are strong and healthy little boys.  I came to this site to learn some

things that my dw has been trying to tell me for years.  Sometimes you just need

to hear it from someone else, or read it somewhere else before you finally " get

it " .  That happens to me quite often.  I was in the Navy in the early nineties

and just did what I was told to do.  " Roll your sleeves up, this won't hurt " , ya

right.  What's with the PPD shot?  I've had probably three or four, I was told

it's for sickle cell animia.  Hm, I wonder!  They gave us yellow fever, why?  I

was sick

for weeks in basic training(never went to medical).  For me that was enough

evidence to trust my dw with whatever decisions had to be made about vax the

boys.  They won't ever see a needle as long as we are here.
