The cervical cancer vaccine Cervarix is under scrutiny after it emerged that nearly 1500 'adverse reactions' have been reported across Britain. In America, there have been more than 7,000 reports of " adverse events " linked to Gardasil, the vaccination of choice there. The Spanish government briefly halted the vaccination programme in Valencia after two girls suffered serious side-effects that required hospitalisation. In the UK however, secondary school girls have received Cervarix, not Gardasil. A Department of Health spokesperson said: " The HPV vaccination programme prevents cervical cancer and will save the lives of up to an estimated 400 women each year. Both HPV vaccines have met the rigorous safety and efficacy standards required for licensing in Europe and elsewhere " . -------------------------------------------------------- Sheri Nakken, R.N., MA, Hahnemannian Homeopath Vaccination Information & Choice Network, Nevada City CA & Wales UK Vaccines - http://www.wellwithin1.com/vaccine.htm Vaccine Dangers & Homeopathy Online/email courses - next classes March 18 &
