Guest guest
Hi , My daughter has been taking karate for the last year. It has really helped her with her focus, and she loves it too!!! nne <lauraj2@...> wrote: One thing we did do the second month was get a puppy...It was super crazy at first, but I think the dog helped her with her self confidence. Only a few bad thoughts at bedtime, and they are about kissing a girl. Yeah Puppies!!!! He loves his puppy so much and it has really distracted him. He also started karate, and that seems to help too. I think he is just plain getting better, at least for now. J

Guest guest
We got a mini schnauzer. It has been so wonderful. He has only had a few bad thoughts lately. Some more today, but not as many. The poor puppy is constantly carried around by Ben. He loves him so much already. He keeps saying " I can't believe he is real, thank you for making my dreams comes true. " Gotta love that. He also has been easy to train, relatively speaking. Ben has been doing well with the added responsibility. He feeds him, he takes him out, and plays with him all day. He is also an only child, and I think though we are quite busy, he was a little lonely. We also homeschool. He has lots of friends and activities, but he loves to play with that puppy. He tells him stories. I also heard him explaining OCD to the puppy. He said " I tell all my friends, so they will understand. " wow. J Re: puppies Hi , What type of puppy did you get? My son has been begging for a puppy, but a second dog isn't an option in our household. We're getting him a kitten instead. has been very depressed at night and I think a kitten to snuggle with and play with will cheer him up. Guest guest
Sounds like the puppy is fitting in beautifully! We have a Mini Schnauzer also - he's 4 years old now. He's got a great temperment, he's very tolerant of the kids, fairly easy to train, doesn't shed and fits in so well with our family. Beware the groomer bills tho - lol. Make sure to get him around different types of people now and expose him to lots of other dogs. Best wishes! Khris > > We got a mini schnauzer. It has been so wonderful. Guest guest
I have a question about puppy vaccinations. I have two 10wk old puppies, unvaccinated, rawfed, healthy, 4# and 10#. I have been asked to keep another same-age pup for a week while a friend is away. He's been vaccinated, though, twice already. And he's forced to eat mostly kibble. Will he pose a threat to my unvaccinated pups? Won't he be shedding a parvo virus or something else from the vaccine? Is it enough to make my puppies sick? Must I decline? Thanks for your advice, ~robin
