It's been a topic dear to my heart since long before my daughter was born and I have read an awful lot on the subject, but I am beginning to realise that what I know just scratches the surface. I am in the middle of reading " Fear of the Invisible " by Janine , and to be honest, I have not read a book on vaccines before that scares me the way that this one does. I have read books that have disgusted me, books that have amazed me, and those that have shocked me - this one does all of these. It scares me not for my family, especially - we have long since sworn off vaccines and I doubt dd will ever consent to one her life long - but for all of those lovely people in the world who innocently trust doctors and pharmaceutical companies and government officials to tell them how to care for the health of their beloved babies. I'm scared for all my vaxing friends and their kids, those who are so sure that vaccines do what society tells them they do, and that they're necessary to keep their kids from harm. I'm scared for anyone who thinks protection of their health and wellbeing comes from a needle. Anyone who is even remotely concerned about the safety and efficacy of vaccines needs to read this and it should be on all new parents' reading lists. Those who are rabidly *pro-vaccine* would be hard pressed to endorse vaccines after reading it too, but getting them to do so would be the crunch I wholeheartedly recommend it - even if I'm only halfway through! They have always been contaminated - many many factors all vaccines have always been harmful and no vaccine ever gave immunity - ever. Guest guest Posted March 29, 2009 Report Share Posted March 29, 2009 What I found sickening was that the governments and scientists *knew* they were contaminated - especially the polio vaccine with SV40 - and yet they kept on making them because changing the way they were made would have been too expensive!! They decided it was okay to let people go on getting contaminated vaccines.... Sick indeed.
