Hello all,

I just want to thank you all ahead of time, for all the

help/answers/support you've given me over the last few months.

everytime i have my son's well-check, it brings up more

questions...so here goes...

this dr. wasn't as blunt/forward as the last one, but she did say

that HIB and Pertusis are the MOST IMPORTANT ones right now, at this

age (i have a 4 mo. old) Especially HIB, she couldn't seem to stop

talking about that one. since it's meningitis...she definitely scared

me about that one a bit.

Pertusis is whooping cough right?? i'm worried about this one too...

** she said in Minnesota, there has been pertusis break out, tons of

meningitis cases..and last year, a polio break out** how would i find

out about this, if it's true or not???

just hoping for more input/info. from you guys...so i can feel secure

in my decision again...they just really tear you down in there...

oh, btw, i'm labled as " vaccine refusal " now...and they wanted me to

sign a waiver...i didn't. but they'll probably bug me about it again.

i feel like such an odd-ball when going there.

one more thing, i was surprised to find out there's a new vaccine (i

think it's new) that combines 4-5 diseases into 1 shot. Gee, how

convenient.

she also said that MMR is NOT separated into separate shots anymore,

and it's impossible for her to do that.

anyway..thanks again...please help ease my worries about HIB and

pertussis :0)
