Guest guest
I am posting on a forum about my choice not to vaccinate and trying to share resources for those interested in educating themselves. One person wrote the following. I want to give them a good response. HOw would you respond? I can see both sides but what really scares me is a few parents not getting their kids the shots they need and then they get polio or some strain of small pox that has mutated and then we are all back in the same boat we were in the 1950's. I agree the greed in the drug companies is rampant but remember when TB was making a come back, maybe still is, because of the illegal immigrants afraid to have their kids screened? We need to protect our kids but, I certainly don't want to give the diseases out there a chance to come back or become stronger after all we've gone through with polio. I can still remember kids wearing the leg braces to school. It was a scary time. I don't want to ever see it come back. So far I have written this in response: Vaccines were not responsible for the eradication of Polio they were in some case the cause of it. http://www.vaclib.org/basic/polio.htm
