Guest guest Posted March 2, 2009 Report Share Posted March 2, 2009 I feel soooooooo bad for all these poor, sick children around me (not mine, NEVER mine!). They all have constantly running noses, continuous ear infections, high fevers, rashes, they just catch EVERYTHING. Their parents respond by putting them on more antibiotics and of course they're fully vaccinated. But they just seem MISERABLE to me, they're always getting tubes in their ears, taking more drugs, going for hospital stays, requiring breathing treatments, surgery to remove body parts (usually tonsils), etc. And these people accuse US of child abuse?! Are they KIDDING?! My daughter is NEVER sick like that. Worst case scenario is a " bad " cold (no fever) that requires some saline solution, a nasal syringe, and some steamy air...for about two days. And that's it! But since starting multi-vitamins (chiropractor-recommended) and probiotics we don't even have that, and she's around all these sick kids all the time. It really seems like they just accept that along with " preventative " medicine, their kids are going to get sick all the time, and that's just how the winter goes. UGH!
