Guest guest
If you choose not to vaccinate... it may be OK here because I live on the East Coast of the US and the standard of living is incredibly high but what if you want to visit other continents that are not as high? I'm from Europe originally and don't necessarily see a threat there but what about the Caribbean, Middle East and South America for example? I'm not even going to mention Africa... Am I stuck with my kids here? Is there a time when their immune systems are " mature enough " whilst they are still young, to be able to travel with reasonable caution to metorpolitan areas? When my daughter was 10 months, we went to the Bahamas and my then ped's office had a travel clinic set up where they gave all types of shots including malaria etc. I questioned them ahead of time given that I was going to the Bahamas would I really need malaria and they said absolutely. I chose not to get any of the extra vaccines. Thanks
