for us, the decision came from being more fearful of the vaccines than the

diseases. we

understand that with disease comes a risk of harm, and same with vaccines. we

feel the risk

from vaxing is far greater and far more mysterious. there are too many known

risks, never

mind the suspected complications from vaxing, and our understanding of the

immune

system is not well known at all, including the role of childhood diseases. we

couldn't see

putting our child in harm's way intentionally by vaxing, rather than taking our

chances with

very likely innocuous diseases. i really don't understand folks who decide not

to vax, but then

freak out at the thought of actually getting a disease- you can't have it both

ways. well,

actually you can, you can vax AND get the disease. -molly
