What is your opinion on the HIB Vaccine?

My 4 year old son's DAN doctor suggested that if we did any vaccines

at all on our new baby, that he would only suggest the HIB vaccine. He

didn't seem concerned at all about him catching any other diseases.

Just the meningitis caused by the HIB virus. He suggested only 2 doses

at least 6 months apart starting no earlier than 6 months of age. What

do you think? He said he hadn't heard anything about that particular

one being connected to autism like the MMR, DPT, etc. He wasn't trying

to get us to do it or anything. We asked him and that's just what he

told us. Has anyone here heard anything horrible about the HIB

vaccine?
