Guest guest
Too bad it's fat-phobic. For some, obesity is a mobility disability. I personally haven't liked many of the products at this store. I don't have much patience for bitter cripple humor. But, it takes all kinds. > > > > > > This is funny... > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > >
Guest guest
ok Tim... should I ask if you are speaking from experience??? -------------- Original message -------------- From: Casten <tcasten@...> Don't forget those of you who partake in Daylight Savings Time please set your clocks ahead one hour tonight when you partake in bedtime activities. Guest guest
I grew up in a state that didn't change to daylight savings time, so I've never gotten used to having to do it. I hate it. And the most recent studies show that it doesn't even save energy-just makes everyone tired. It's evil. ; ) Judi _____ From: [mailto: ] On Behalf Of Casten Sent: Saturday, March 08, 2008 7:11 PM Subject: Public Service Announcement Don't forget those of you who partake in Daylight Savings Time please set your clocks ahead one hour tonight when you partake in bedtime activities. Guest guest
I am so behind on my emails. I did remember to set the clock ahead, though. This is the first time ever the time change has bothered . Monday morning she was a total grouch all morning getting ready for school. She didn't want to move, was slower than I don't know what. I was trying to hurry everyone along, we need to leave by 7:05, that I didn't stop to think " Why is grouchy? " . This morning, Tuesday, she came downstairs with her hands on her hips, straight toward me. " Mom, why is it dark outside? " Now, I really tried to come up with a sensible explanation, that she would understand. Yeah right, sensible explanation. Couldn't do it. So I said " , that is just the way it is for the next few weeks, won't be long until it isn't dark in the mornings " . Brilliant response, right? Well, she looked at me and said " Mom, it is dark outside. If it is dark outside, I am tired. Leave me alone. " She then walked back upstairs, proceeded to get dressed, and was ready to leave right on time. Sharon H.
