Below is an article she wrote with a very thought-provoking message on vaccines. Also, please note the link at the bottom to a new, well-documented vaccine DVD by Dr. Moulden, an accomplished Canadian doctor/scientist. ------------------------------- The Experiment Continues by Sherry Tenpenny A top Wyeth executive told Forbes last week that revenue from traditional prescription drugs is being outpaced by other types of products, such as vaccines and biotech drugs. " Over 60 percent of our 2008 revenues came from nonpharmaceutical sources, " Geno Germano, president of Wyeth's U.S. pharmaceutical business units. For example, Prevnar, the world's No. 1 revenue-producing vaccine, is likely to be the very first to achieve $3 billion in annual revenues. This vaccine continues to be a big seller even though two former Wyeth employees continue with their lawsuit against Wyeth due to concern about the vaccine's manufacturing problems. All of the vaccine competitors are getting into the massive money game. Wyeth's closest competitor, GSK, employs more than 1,100 research scientists devoted to discovering new vaccines. In 2004, GSK distributed more than 1.5 billion doses of vaccines to 168 countries, an average of 45 doses per second. Beyond vaccines, Wyeth has five new products that are estimated to produce more than $1 billion in combined revenue in 2009. One drug, Relistor, is a shot to treat constipation caused by narcotic painkillers. Relistor was approved for use by the FDA after a trial of only 4 months on 287 patients. How safe can it be? COMMENT: Vaccines have been created to address problems caused by vaccines (i.e. Zostavax for shingles caused by Varivax, the chickenpox vaccine). Now we are getting a drug to treat constipation caused by other drugs. Where will it end?
