Guest guest
My husbnad Mike was attending a funeral yesterday and afterwards he was talking to his mom about bringing our cat up there if they wanted him. Overhearing this conversations was one of my husband's Great Aunts who asked if the cat was vaccinated...my husband replied matter of factly " We don't vaccinate our animals anymore...Diesel has had too many issues because of them. " Then my SIL (who is only 14 and has sworn off Gardasil and vaccinating her own kids) pipes up and says " They don't vax their kids either " like it totally normal for us. This sparked a brief confrontation with Mike's mom where she proceded to tell him that we need to get out babies vaxxed so they can attend school. That vaccines make the illnesses less severe and that it's the LAW - blah, blah, blah. Mind you my MIL is a backwoods hillbilly with no high school education. Mike actually started spewing out ingredients that no child of his will be injected with and that there are laws that protect our choices to allow our children to attend schools without vaccines, and that vaccine *immunity wears off*. It really shut her up! He comes home to tell me about it and says " I did something today that I can't believe I did, but I did it anyway. " I'm SO proud of him!! He actually read and retained the info I was always talking and reading about!! -Kristi
