Guest guest
Hello, I have been reading for a while but never posted before, so allow me to start with a little introduction. I am a mom to 7 month old baby girl. Before she was born I never really even heard about the vaccination issues, dangers or anything at all. I just accepted it as a norm of our life. However, a friend of mine, from my home country Ukraine started telling me about recent vaccination disaster and that did concern, but I honestly thought the issue with Ukrainian vaccines was in poor quality - they were made in India in insanely large quantities, so it is possible that there was little or no control of the quality. So I proceeded with the first set of vaccines at 2 months. We are in Canada, so no vaccines were given to DD at birth, and at 2 month she was given four shots. I was more concerned about her being in pain from the shots at the time, and only wanted it to end as soon as possible. I felt horribly guilty for letting the doctor put needles in my baby and it just broke my heart. However, it turned out to be the least of my problems. Four hours after shots she started crying, for the first time she wouldn't take breast to comfort herself. She screamed for an hour without stopping and then she had some fever. I didn't give her any Tylenol, as I didn't feel it was necessary to put more chemicals in her. The next day my baby was back to normal - happy, healthy, just a little swollen in those places where the needle pierced the skin. However, when I changed her diaper I saw little tiny dots of blood in her poop. I made an appointment with my doctor and he confirmed that it could be a reaction to the shots. The blood dots remained in her poop for another 10-12 days. That is when I joined the group and researched the issue. I was never able to find an answer as to WHAT caused the blood. I read some literature on vaccines but I was unable to find an answer. If anyone has an explanation please kindly reply. I do realize that anything can be blamed on chemical cocktail in the vaccines, but I am looking for an actual cause. In case you are wondering, I am not vaccinating my girl any more and my doctor does not push me into it. He is actually one of those who says - Collect ALL the information you can and make an informed decision, I am here to tell you that you should vaccinate, but YOU as a parent need to make a decision. On the other side my husband feels that it is safer to vaccinate than not to. I am hoping that if any of you have any actual info on the topic I might be able to convince him. Thank you in advance to those who respond, Respectfully Vira
