Guest guest
Has anyone heard of parents using falsified vaccine records for school entry? I mean, if your child gets, lets say, the first few vaccines, they give the parent the unfilled vaccine record which then needs to be brought back every time so the doctor can check off the other vaccines at each visit. Well, if someone has this record, could they not just fill it out themselves and present that to the school for proof of vaccination? Do they actually verify it with the doctor? I would rather just use an exemption, but what if you are in one of the two states that allows only medical exemptions? Thanx Vida
Guest guest
I don't believe the records are verified with a doctor's office but that is falsification of legal medical records and I wouldn't go there, it could land you in alot of legal trouble/jail. ~doris

Guest guest
There is no vaccine record that is given to the parents to carry back and forth which schools will accept. That little vaccine book you might have been given is just for your own info and means diddlysquat to school officials. Schools require a standard health form to be filled out by the doctor. Any vaccines given are noted on there by the doctor, who signs and dates the form (sometime it is stamped). The schools keep the form. Any time an update is required (usually yearly), this is all repeated on a new form. I would expect that schools have relationships with the doctors, and have other students with the same doctor so it could easily be verified if there were forgeries. I highly recommend NOT doing this. If you don't live in a state with a religious exemption, you can either homeschool, move or vaccinate your child. The problem is the other way around. If you get some vaxes you can't always get a religious exemption.
