What a horrible, one-sided show about vaccinations.

I am going to write them and tell them they've lost one of their

biggest fans...and for a show that is falling in the ratings, they

can't afford to lose anymore viewers. I'm TOTALLY disgusted with their

portrayal...

My DH said something about the doctors having a conversation about

unvaxing parents being uneducated...something along those lines. Did

anyone see that part? I missed it. What was all said?

I didn't hear anything mentioned specifically saying uneducated, but

they were in their conference room and when one doctor brought up the

reason she didn't vaccinate another mentioned something about the CDC

has proven there is no link and vaccines are " safe " . They even went

so far as to suggest the ped call child protective services because

it was neglect or abuse (don't remember which one) to not vaccinate

her kids. Two doctors actually said no, it's the parents choice, but

the rest seemed to be of the mind that all kids should be vaccinated

and it should not be up to the parents.

That's probably the part he's thinking of. I agree with the other

poster it seemed pretty over the top even for a tv show.

This is complete b.s. because there are actually studies that show

that non-vaxing/selective-vaxing mothers tend to be more formally

educated and affluent than vaxing ones. Unreal...this is why I don't

lay an eye on network television (except for Desperate Housewives and

Ugly Betty, but thank goodness they never discuss vaccines!) ;)
