I don't think they WANT to figure it out. Not only is the medical industry

a HUGE money maker, but if those in the medical profession acknowledged that

what they've been doing all these years is not only wrong but potentially

fatal, that would totally knock their feet out from under them. They don't

know any other way to practice and most would not be willing to learn any

alternatives, even if that meant saving lives.

Well....what I hope will happen is that more and more people will get

educated about health and start rejecting or giving their doctors a

harder and harder time. When they start loosing business maybe then

they will be forced to give up such a screwed up system and move on

to alternative.

I think, some think and truly believe, they are doing a good thing

and helping people. Wow....it is shame some are so clueless about

health.

My ex fiancé is having blood sugar issues. His doctor wanted to put

him on meds. he asked him if there were other things he could do..ie

diet. He said no. YOu need to take the med.( His blood sugar issues

are mild.) He couldn't believe it. I told him, " you need to find a

new doctor!)

I agree many " health professionals " don't want to see the truth.

They need to upgrade their eduction,

We are responsible for our own health. Some people just don't want

to be. They still put their lives and the lives of their children in

the allopathic hands.

The story about your ex reminded me of a story of a lady with epilepsy or some

sort of seizure disorder; she worked for a man who was a trainer, and was all

about proper diet and nutrition and all that. Out of curiosity, he researched

her disease, just to learn more about it, and was asking her questions about

what diet she tried, and everything like that. She said she hadn't tried any

diet, no doctor ever told her anything about it; and when asked the doctor why

he didn't tell her about the diet (it was a low-carb diet) he said that most

patients chose not to stick to the plan, and it doesnt' work anyway. So,

instead of giving her the option of trying, he went ahead and performed brain

surgery on her.

OMG!!! Have you heard any updates on that poor lady?

Our doctors do what they know ..they need to know more. They think

their way is the only way and there are no other options. I believe

there is a cure for cancer but they don't want to consider many of

them because there is no money in a lot of these cures.

I think people should go to their natural doctor first and to the

allopathic as a last resort. Most , go to their conventional doctor

first.

When I was pregnant. The doctors kept giving me vaginal infections.

I used yogurt and it helped prevent a full blown infection. The OB

asked me why I used it!! LOL 101 of alternative medicine that most

know about, he had no clue! Geeze!

We just got over the flu, and my 2 year-old also had a staph boil on his finger.

At first I thought it was a spider bite, but then the doc told me staph and gave

me some antibiotics. I had been down this road with the other peds in the past

and was very reluctant.

 

After feeling guilty from my mom and ex, I finally decided to give him the

antibiotics. After his second dose, he broke out in a few hives and then his

lips were getting swollen! I rushed him to the drug-store to get him benedryl.

The symptoms were not changing, so I took him to the ER. There, they gave him a

steroid. I even felt more guilty, watching so many chemicals forced into his

body.

 

I spoke to the ped the next day and he gave me a prescription for another

antibiotic! I just couldn't do it. I drove myself crazy, worrying if I was

making the right decision or not. Instead, I decided to give him crushed garlic,

topical herbs, collidal silver and probiotics. I also tried to make sure he

recieved lots of rest, and avoided sugar. Oh and I was reading that garlic is

very potent 14 min after it has been chopped!

 

So far, his would is healing. Everyone in the medical community thinks I'm

insane. I think they're insane......I'm always going to trust my gut, from now

on!

My daughter (3) has gotten more staph infections on her skin and styes in her

eyes than I

ever remember having in my whole life! Her skin ones are almost always b/c

she's picked

at a mosquito bite (we're working on that), but a couple of them got really bad

and really

big. I never once even considered antibiotics an option! I kept calendula gel

and bandaids

on them (if she was older and I could've convinced her, I would've done warm

compresses

to try to draw the infection out even faster, but that wasn't happening with my

then 2-

year-old), and they've always popped and healed super fast afterwards with only

calendula

and bandaids. I did, of course, keep watch for red lines, but she's never had

any. Don't

feel guilty. I had taken her to a doc, they would've definitely given me

antibiotics for hers,

also. I believe for the really bad one, I also gave her a couple of doses to

Belladonna.

Sorry about your ordeal! Great work on treating naturally, I hope

you never need another antibiotic. If it does not totally resolve

consider homeopathy. This staph boil thing is popping up quite a bit.

Don't feel bad. You made the decision based on your gut feeling at the time. I

did the same thing last year--antibiotics for my son's recurring pneumonia,

hives, Benadryl then came to my senses. It's very scary when you're in the thick

of it. Good for you to reject the second antibiotic. Now you know for next time

to hold off and try it your way first.
