Hello Administrator. God bless you for creating and administrating this group. I do pray and hope that I will be able to help others through it and that it will offer me some desperately needed information.

Please post this:

Hello friends in this forum.

I am new here, have read through many of your stories, and, unfortunately, can relate. My debacle began two summers ago at a starlings nest, and has continued ever since with the exception of about a six week period. A treatment of ivermectin worked to clear me of the bugs when I used it within a month of the original infestation. However, I became reinfested when I returned to the home where the infecting incident occurred to retrieve some belongings.

I will get right to my point.

I have to imagine that SOMEWHERE on this earth there are serious scientists or medical doctors that are studying this phenomenon. Someone must have found a medical doctor who took them seriously. Please, can someone tell who they are? Please offer me their names and contact information. Thank you!

What medical tests can be used to diagnose this condition? Skin scrapings are used to diagnose demodex and scabies mite infestations. Are there also any blood markers that would indicate an infestation--especially one that has (definitely become internal)? PLEASE HELP. Thank you!

Finally, what pharmaceuticals are used to treat this type of infestation besides ivermectin, which, though once very effective, is now almost useless in my case?

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
