Hunchbacker - please do us a favor. For every negative post that you provide on

a product please provide a comparable product that would benefit the group. If

you are so concerned about people with MCS, take your research a step further

and find a product they can use. Continuously posting info from unreliable sites

create fear for people about products that are virtually harmless and its not

necessary. What cleaning and skin products do you use? Are you or your home

infested/infected with mites?

Hi Hunchbacker, thanks sooo much for sharing this. I might go with the other

orange cleaner you mentioned unless I can find something cheaper.

Lynn, I use TKO. Great product, my house smells so fresh and clean when I use

it. I have MCS and I do not react at all to it. I called this company and

discussed the organic issue with them and was assured they use organic oranges.

Better than any of the other orange cleansers I looked into or have used. Bobby

Jen Yes it was cowboy that turned me onto the Green Terpene, bought the sample

and love this stuff. I have also added MMS1 activated to the clove and

peppermint, seems effective. However being healed not a good judge on killing

Hi Jen and Bobby, I'm guessing since TKO is on RipOff Report it's still in

trouble. Maybe the " T " in TKO stands for trouble, lol. I thought it was a band

from the 70's. I remember what you said on the organic thing and I totally

agree! It seems like orgnaic standards aren't really enforced with cleansers. So

now we have to be like detectives even with cleaners. Arrggghhhh.

Oh the clove & peppermint Green Terpene sounds sooo nice Marie! I had wanted to

buy some last month but the darn holidays are eating up funds. I am dropping not

so subtle hints to the hubby I'd rather have Green Terpene's sample pack for

Christmas instead of the usual trinket that just ends up on a shelf or being

given away. All those things you mention: clove and peppermint, I know those

kill the beast from first hand experience. One of these days I will be in your

position where I can enjoy these oils just for their own sake. I am not seeing

any other company out there producing pure products with both D-Limeone and

other natural oils like peppermint. What a wonderful find.

No, TKO's claims to being 100% are clearly illegitimate. Swansons Vitamins

themselves are cited at Rip Off Report for manipulating customer feedback so

they are hardly a legitimate reference.

Just look at the facts:

" Orange TKO company have stated many times that Orange TKO is 100% organic and

is made with 97% food grade d'limonene and oxygen as an emulsifier. That is a

lie. Orange TKO contains 85% - 90% regular d'limonene, 5% - 6% Poly(oxy-1,

2-ethanediyl), alpha-(nonylphenyl-omega-hydroxy), and 5% - 6% Octoxynol-5. I

and in mice in acute oral toxicity studies. Although exact dosage and effects

are a little unclear, the one thing I do find very clear…it is more toxic than

oxygen. "

The product above is only 90% d'limonen and customer's are supposed to believe

it's all from organic oranges because they say so. Not hardly. the rest of the

ingredients are obviously not organic, so they are clearly making false claims.

I am going to treat my home with something stronger than orange oil but I can

tell you this. If I was looking for an orange cleaner I would not purchase from

a dishonest company like TKO.

Hi Lynn, I agree, I am sometimes suspicious about anyone who claims they are

100% organic. Dr Bronner's is one of the few who seems pretty honest on that.

I've never heard anyone here reporting they showed up on RipOff Report or the

other places for companies with bad reputations.

Yes, if you find something more on orange products that would be awesome. So far

the purest find I've heard of here is Green Terpene discovered by Cowboy. Check

it out if you get a chance Lynn. I think you might like the website like I did.

Hi Harrington, I've always liked Swanson. If they did something to customer

feedback you have to admit that's kind of different from making false claims on

being 100% organic. Ingredients are a big deal to people with allergies or MCS

or other illness. I do agree on your final thoughts. I mean, if TKO is only 85%

d'limonene than the rest of it is something else. Well, what's that something

else? Can you or someone else explain the remaining 20% of TKO ingredients? Are

they organic, and where do they come from? Just looking at the list they look

kind of nasty,

5% - 6% Poly(oxy-1, 2-ethanediyl), alpha-(nonylphenyl-omega-hydroxy), and 5% -

6% Octoxynol-5.

Hi Jen, thanks for your help in finding new safe products. I couldn't seem to

find any posts on what the balance of ingredients are, other than the

d-limonene, in the Grene Terpene. Is that all that this is - straight

D-limonene? I found posts saying what it isn't-just not what it actually is. The

MSDS on their site only refenced a CAS #, not easy to find. Sorry if I missed

it. I tend to stay away from products that claim they are " all natural " like

this one does. No product is ever perfect, wish Green Terpene used organic

oranges instead of pestacide treated ones.

I emailed TKO this time instead of calling. My email is below and the answer

above. I have the reviewed the organic certifications and they seem legit to me.

Not living in Cali, nor wanting to take more time on this, I did not confirm

with the organic organizations the certifications.

Always best to go to the source Jen then a search engine result or what someone

else posts. Whoever made the post below obviously did not do any reputable

research or know their product info. This is good for me to call it organic and

safe enough for me to use.

Hi, Bobby:

Thank you for sending your message. I appreciate the fact that you have

asked this question, rather than just believing what has been posted. This is

NOT true. Orange TKO IS made from food grade d'limonene (and there is no such

thing as " regular " d'limonene - it's either food grade or technical grade).

Orange TKO is about 95% pure food grade d'limonene, with an organic surfactant

added to keep it water soluble. Oxygen is also added. Attached is our

certificate from the Organic Materials Review Institute (OMRI), who have

reviewed the ingredients of Orange TKO, and have listed the product for use in

organic production. If there were non-organic chemicals in Orange TKO, OMRI

would have have given us this certification to allow the product to be used in

organic production!! They are privy to the formula, and have approved it.

Orange TKO is also a member of the California Certified Organic Farmers' Assoc

(CCOF), which also would not allow an association with a non-organic product!

Our membership certificate with them is also attached. You can rest assured

that you are using a safe, organic product!!

Hi

I have MCS and have been using your product and love it. Recently, in one of the

chat rooms I belong to, this was posted:

> " Orange TKO company have stated many times that Orange TKO is 100% organic and

Can you address this for me for I use organic products without any chemicals. I

love your product and want to continue using it.

Thank You

Hi Lynn, Not sure but I heard someone named Cowboy found Green Terpene. If he

is still around I would like to thank him for discovering it and sharing it

because I wouldn't have heard of it otherwise. All you ever hear of is TKO who

are expensive and they might have lied about being 100% organic. I think they

might have some organic ingredients but according to Harrington they don't back

up their 100% organic claims even in their email. I'm so sick of all this. I

don't blame you for using something cheaper for now. I'm like you. I would like

to try it all but I'm so paranoid about getting sick from some weird chemical.

Hi Bobby, thank you! I can't find where TKO is 100% organic either. Green

Terepene has a higher percentage of d-limonene compared to TKO which means it is

more pure. It sucks with cleansers because organic standards are a problem and

someone like TKO could say they are 100% organic when in fact they are not. The

Health Ranger had an article about this I think.

If I find some more good detective work on this I will let you know! Happy

Thanksgiving to you and yours.

Hi Jen-Bhar, you should probaby make your own TKO type cleaner, then you could be certain without a doubt that it is 100% organic. I'm not that into making my own products but certainly it couldn't be that hard. You could put whatever you'd like in there. Might be fun...Sent from my iPhoneOn Nov 24, 2010, at 1:18 AM, jentolson <no_reply > wrote:

Hi Lynn, Not sure but I heard someone named Cowboy found Green Terpene. If he is still around I would like to thank him for discovering it and sharing it because I wouldn't have heard of it otherwise. All you ever hear of is TKO who are expensive and they might have lied about being 100% organic. I think they might have some organic ingredients but according to Harrington they don't back up their 100% organic claims even in their email. I'm so sick of all this. I don't blame you for using something cheaper for now. I'm like you. I would like to try it all but I'm so paranoid about getting sick from some weird chemical.

We need to buy an organic orange grove for that to equal the quality of ORGANIC

TKO Rush, lollol. I do love to make my own organic essential oil based products.

Thanks for the suggestion. Good post Rush!!

Jen-Bhar, aka Sybil, The organic certifications were attached to my email if you

had read it. I reviewed them, they are good. I really think from the sound of

your posts you really are suffering from the effects of MCS, not mites. Here is

a great site that you may find helpful in determining what really is bothering

your skin:

Sounds like a MCS room would be a much better fit for you since you are really

into dissing our products. MCS room products are generally well researched

posts, much better researched than some of the ones recently dissing our

products that have helped many here. That seems like it would be of benefit to

you to go elsewhere for relief.

BTW, Green Terpenes balance of ingredients has not been posted: CHEMICALS

Too soon for a solid opinion now from me. I found Swanson Vitamins backs this

product. http://www.swansonvitamins.com/TK001/ItemDetail?SourceCode=INTL402 Its

a generized statement of all products they sale. They must think its safe.

Personnally its very hard to be completely organic unless you can physically

make it on your own.

Hi Rush, this is Jen. I guess you were trying to respond to my post but confused

me with another Jen or someone else? Just to clarify my name is Jen (jentolson).

Not Jen-Bhar.

Hi Lynn,

At this moment I'm not taking any vitamins. I'm buying lots of organic veggies

lately from reading what the health ranger says about food being medicine and

the best way for the body to get vitamins.

I'm not going to be on the computer tomorrow so if I don't talk to you before

then have yourself a Happy Thanksgiving!

Hi, does anyone know if this site is moderated?

The reason I ask is Bobbyboyd99 is calling someone else here Sybil because he

doesn't like their posts. Sybil is a movie about a woman with a serious mental

impairment, so it's like Bobbyboyd is making fun of people with this disability

and also the other forum members who might have MCS. Also it looks to me like

he's trying to intimidate another poster into leaving this group. This is

incredibly mean and hateful on many levels. Kim
