Guest guest
Hello. I've been viewing this for a few weeks once I found it and am dismayed at my situation. No birds around, yet I started getting bit in late July on the neck and shoulders, usually at 2-4 AM, red bites that didn't heal and turned brown. I thought it was bedbugs in a hot summer, but found no evidence of them in the mattress...and why would I have an invisible crawling sensation when putting my head down on the pillow after 5 min late at night? I did find some mouse droppings with an old newspaper in the corner of my bedroom that had likely been there from a defeated mouse in April. Not sure if that is the culprit, but if so, why not bites earlier in the spring? Definitely no other mice since. I threw pillows and blankets out, cleaned a lot, thought the biting/crawling may die down in colder weather (in a Northern city), but it's worse. The white granular specs seem everywhere on the sheets and pillowcases, in the hair, and now on the bathroom mirror. Washing the sheets often was helpful for a few days, but now it seems not to matter the night I do it. The mattress has a lot of white lint balls, I just noticed. Do I bother replacing it or covering it if they just come back to a new one? I haven't told anyone (for fear of being deemed crazy or a leper). I'm nervous about traveling to see family during the holidays. Based on what I've read here... Going to a doctor won't help, so I haven't attempted it. Exterminators can't solve it. Moving doesn't help. I can forget about dating anyone (34 y.o.) for fear of giving someone a " Sleepover Transmitted Disease " at my place if things progressed. I don't want to spend thousands of limited savings on wrong turns. I'd like to be a bug-free homeowner someday. Ugh. On the bright side...I only have a four-room apartment...I'm employed...haven't gotten sick and I exercise...no weird Morgellons...and no kids to subject to this strangeness. Suggestions/strategies are welcomed on what to do. I feel lost. Thanks, Carl
