Guest guest
I'm very very sensitive to sulfur and essential oils and I SCRUB with the ESP soap each night and leave it on my skin for ~5min before rinsing. I've never had a problem with it. I don't know why it doesn't bother me and it also leaves my skin super moist and soft. z3 > > Does anyone know what is in the esp sulfur soap? Guest guest
Thanks Zoe that's good to know! In my situation I have to know all the ingredients in products before I use them but since Lynn likes esp so much it seems promising to me. I blame no one but myself for my current problem. i just used too much garbage trying to kill bugs and now I'm hypersensitive to all kinds of stuff. Can't even drink coffee anymore. I have only found a few products that don't cause a bad reaction on my skin. Aeon has been a godsend for a body cream but I'm paying too much for a dead sea soap from the store. Very nice, toxic free soap but they charge $3 for a bar with no sulfur, and that's when they're on sale. Maybe if you still have the wrapping that came with the esp soap you could find the full ingredients on it and post? I know there are some others here with MCS, including a new girl named Gator. Haven't seen her lately, hope she's ok. Thanks! Jen > > > > Does anyone know what is in the esp sulfur soap? They are not responsive with email. Guest guest
Hi Bill, thanks but it went to voice mail. I really hate phone tag wish they would just respond to email. It's more convenient than the dang phone anyway. One of things I like about modern shopping is it's all online and you don't have to talk to anyone to get your product. What would be even better is a full ingredient list at their website so people don't have to call or email just to find out what they're paying for. Thanks for the info on anu water it sounds promising! Jen > > >Does anyone know what is in the esp sulfur soap? They are not responsive with email. Guest guest
Hello Jen. If you suffer chemical sensitivity I advise against making purchases from merchants who don't disclose full ingredients on their website. > > Does anyone know what is in the esp sulfur soap? Guest guest
Just bought the ESP Essential Skin Products (New Hope). Contains almond, apricot, grapeseed, Jojoba, evening primrose, mango, shea butters, organic oils, German Chamomile, carotseed, rosewood, cedarwood, rosemary resin, grapeseed extract, Vit E, rosehips. You lather it up all over and let it sit on the skin for 3-5 minutes, also contains peppermint, sage, myrrh, thyme, black walnut hull, teatree, menthnol and cade. Smells great. Too early to tell how it is working, but so far so good. Symptoms are better than they were in September, but it could be because of the cooler weather, so never know for sure. The soap has really good stuff in it. Re: ESP Soap Doesn't List Ingredients? Guest guest
Hi , thanks for your feedback. It contains Vitamin E? Is it from soy? It also contains Almond? Almond is irradiated (nuked), so I look for skin products without soy or almond. Jen > > >Does anyone know what is in the esp sulfur soap? They are not responsive with email. Guest guest
From smelling the soap I think it would be awful for people with MCS. I have good friends with MCS and this soap would send them into days of illness. Too scented, even if it is "natural." I know from experience with my good friend Cathie that even natural scents can be terrible for ppl with MCS. Sorry dear. No good. Re: ESP Soap Doesn't List Ingredients? Hi , thanks for your feedback. Guest guest
I have good friends with MCS who, like me, do not suffer adverse reaction from non-toxic odors. Smell isn't the problem, it's the toxic chemical equation that poses a problem to me. So, if esp soap doesn't have chemicals the odor shouldn't be a problem. I don't fall ill just walking into a rose garden, even though it's full of scents, the scents are naturally occurring. Lynn appears to have a long and personal relationship with the company so will wait and see what she produces. I am soooooo grateful at all the responses I'm getting since asking about esp here. Usually this time of night this site is dead. Thanks for all your help. Jen > > > > >Does anyone know what is in the esp sulfur soap? They are not responsive with email. Guest guest
Jen How about olive oil lye soap unscented? Or coconut lye unscented? The thing about the liquid lye I can use it for shampoo to. Even with chemical sensitivity few are reactive to flower of sulfur because it is homeopathic, meaning the body has this element already. Little story yesterday my dogs got into a nest of yellow jackets in the woods chasing deer. The terrier had a very swollen face. Looking in the cabinet I had no benadryl. Having used ledum pal before on tick bites ect I decided to try. I administered 3 pellets orally every 10 minutes for 3 doses, within minutes the swelling was gone. I take ledum pal every tick bite spider bite ect now. There is theory that it could even cure lyme, probably at the time of initial bite. http://www.elixirs.com/study.cfm http://www.elixirs.com/products.cfm?productcode=HY128 Sometimes I think homeopathic medicine should be used side by side with conventional medicine, and for those weary it is regulated just like conventional medicine by the FDA. http://www.elixirs.com/begin.cfm#fda Here is an interesting article from a homeopathic doctor. http://www.naturalhealthsource.us/articles/lyme.html > > > > >Does anyone know what is in the esp sulfur soap? Guest guest
I have MCS also Jen and the New Hope II soap with sulphur is fine on my skin. I leave it on four minutes like suggested before rinsing off. I also sometimes put a coat on when I am damp and leave it on to dry till my next shower. My skin is fine with it and the mild herbal smell seems fine to me. The ingredients in ESP products are from organic sources wherever possible. The products ingredients are usally somewhere on the site, Lynn is correct with her ingredients list. Same soap as the New Hope II except for the added sulphur. Guest guest
Hi Lynn, sorry for the delay in responding. Spent the last day feeling hardly any bug activity so took advantage of it. Whoohoo! Feels like the Aeon Botanica ISP cream is really starting to kick in for me. Then this morning I had a relapse and drank coffee now feeling some crawling start up again. Dang coffee:( I sooo know what you mean about the cha cha Lynn. I have seen distributers vendors whatever they're called at some other sites. I went back to the esp site and yes, they do have a distributer thing right on their home page. I wonder how it works. Guest guest
Jen, I was also wondering what you have been doing for a detox program? I have been detoxing since March, of course hoping to make myself not a mite target, and have noticed that my MCS is gradually getting better. I actually walked by A & F in the mall today and the artificial chemical scent they pump out their front door didn't make me want to pass out. Yankee candle is also terrible for me to walk by. I am doing a gentle heavy metal detox now which I am finding very helpful from the herbalhealer.com. B > > > > > > > > > > Does anyone know what is in the esp sulfur soap? Guest guest
Bobby, so far I've tried fasting on water with lemon juice (couldn't keep it up) It's tough for me because I've always been very much into good food and coffee. I'm a spineless jellyfish:( I am trying desperately to give up coffee. Feel like I'm fighting an uphill battle. Thanks so much for the link to herbalhealer.com. I am sooo happy for you getting better with your smell and all! Guest guest
Plum Island was created by mad scientists, not Trish or her little soaps. They need to get the facts straight. The cost is very reasonable for these soaps. Re: ESP Soap Doesn't List Ingredients? Hi BobbyI have been tag teamed and I knew it as soon as one of the first poster kept on and on after simple explanations to a question asked from a another poster asking about the soap I use. It was a simple answer but others wanted to make it into something else and just claim to be imformitive, but even Bill saw through that and posted in my defense. Then another poster started doing the same thing with accusations of guenia pig and mad scientist. Well that was just more of a tag team and I blew up. I than apolagized for the blow up and then that was not even excepted and another post took it further. I would say calling someone a mad scientist is Slander? Sorry my spelling is terrible. Thank you Bobby but it may be we have to ignore the people who have a secret agenda. In Light Lynn > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > >Does anyone know what is in the esp sulfur soap?
