Good for you to follow your heart on this. You can't know why this woman decided

to vax after alll, except to assume at least that she doubted her own judgment

and opted to defer to the " experts. "

You don't sound wobbly or stubborn at all--just smart!

Hi Jo,

<respectfully snipped>

I feel really upset about this, as i feel there must be a reason that

she has changed her mind or is it something that ive got wrong about

vax? (she is pregnant so maybe hormones?)but also that of all these

100's of mums who read this forum it is now only me who is not

vaccinating...!!!

You may think you are the only mum on this forum who thinks that way - sure

it's not just that you're the only mum honest enough to admit it? Do you

really know that you are the *only* non-vaxer there? You might be

pleasantly surprised. At the very least, if you have persuaded just one

mother to go away and do some more research or convinced just one mother not

to vax, then your time there is not in vain.

Think about that...?

I know how you feel... I try to stick with boards that have like-minded

people on there. I do/believe in all sorts of " alternative " treatments

and parenting techniques - my DH thinks I'm a " weirdo " LOL

I didn't discuss vaccines on this one board I was on (it dealt with

breastfeeding and pumping milk for your baby while you worked) but this

one blinkie always got my goat up: " Love them, protect them, immunize

them " . I always ground my teeth when I saw that one... I chose to

ignore it. I am no longer on that board - I only lurk..I pick my

battles now.

on this particular forum then yes i think so as this other mum did a

poll a while back and there were just us 2 not vaxing (and about 100

others who had!)

however there is another forum that i now go to (mainly supporting

breastfeeding) and about 10-15 other mums have admitted to non vax on

a poll, and several more have only part vax, others have delayed for

now and yet others have said they will seriously consider not vaxing

another child! :o) of course there are still mums who try and

riduicule or disprove every article /comment but atleast i feel they

have the brains to actually look for theselves when given info. so

yes i do pick my battles!

I prefer the slogan I've seen, " Love them. Protect them. NEVER inject

them! " :)
