day care exemptions and mattresses

It was actually a breeze getting my daughter into daycare with a

religious exemption. There were absolutely no questions asked. If

anyone lives in the St. Louis area, I would recommend the daycare my

daughter attends.

I do have one question though. Should I be worried about the

mattresses at the daycare? When I dropped off my daughter, they were

moving an older baby to the older infant room, and gave my daughter

his crib and mattress. I supplied my own sheets. I guess I was

thinking about how I hear college kids catching meningitis when living

in dorm rooms. Does anyone know why meningitis is spread by living in

dorm rooms? Is is normal for babies to share cribs and mattresses at a

day care?
