Guest guest
Caden has a busy week. Yesterday we got him retested for egg allergy. It again cam up positive BUT the nurse also scratched him on accident and that made a hive too. So the New doc said that he has extreamly sensitive skin and that is may have been a false positive (meaning he may not really be allergic anymore). We are plannning a food challenge for him to go into the office and eat eggs under medical supervision and watch for reactions. I don't think he will have one. On Monday he ate eggs on accident (opps) and no problem. Every time he has been exprosed (that we know of) he has NEVER had a reaction. And today... We went to the ped for his kindergarden check-up (required by the state for children entering school for the first time.) Everything went great. He did ask " Does he need any vaccinations for school? " Knowing that we had no intention of vaccinating (I think he just felt compeled to ask) And I just polity responded back " nope he is just fine the way he is. " He simply smiled and and then gave the kids stickers. I love coopeative Doctors. We probly would not have gone except the state said that we had to. TO me it was a waste of time and money to walk in as have him say the same thing. He is 95% in weight and height (always has been) He will probly reach 6'2 " or so (same), he has about 20/30 vision (same), his hearing has not changed and is still not 100% (same). THe doc did have a new hair cut :-) andrea
