Guest guest
I feel for ya! I've been in a similar situation before. It stinks, to say the very least. But the pro-vax side likes their blissful oblivion and they don't want anyone to say anything to spoil it for them. Generally speaking. But it is that one on the fence that we'd like to help that keeps us going! > > Someone posted to the list that I seem to just be wanting to stir up trouble > since " I haven't responded to anything else " .. and I wrote back that I do > feel very strongly about vaccines and I am going to fight for the innocent > babies with every dying breath and I keep saying to myself to walk away but > I just can't because if I can reach just one person on the fence, then it's > a good day (you know all the stuff that keeps us going and from keeping our > traps shut) > > And that they were wrong that I this is all I have been talking to and that > yes, I have responded to other posts too and made a few of my own... > > No word of that. Guest guest
It certainly does stink! To not even give me a heads up and just to let me know b/c my mail is suddenly bouncing and it's not on my list of groups anymore! Should I bother to send some sort of note b/c I'm sure somebody will notice my sudden silence-how am I to defend myself against their attacks? And she says " no personal attacks " imo, I wasn't attacking any ONE person, just the idea of vaccinating-to be fair, I probably was pushy-but man! I'm advocating for babies?!-and that's not allowed passion? You see I'm still pretty ticked about this. Guest guest
<<I probably was pushy-but man! But some boards, like I said, the people want to be left alone in their oblivion.
Guest guest
Children with autism group. Apparently they do want to be left alone in their oblivion huh? Otherwise I would have had more support. I think it was really good though, I never once said " truth hurts huh? " .. I can tell ya, I sure felt like it sometimes. Guest guest
That is a surprising group to treat you that way, just from the name, I don't know anything about it specifically. Seems that many people feel vaccines and autism are connected so I would think you would find some support there. > > Children with autism group. > > > > Apparently they do want to be left alone in their oblivion huh? Guest guest
I know.. but after being on 5 autism related lists. believe me, there are PLENTY of mom's who do vaccinate and who do ALL of the shots and on time and are proud of it and who do not believe that vaccines play a part and the vaccine is more friendly than the disease. The one post I did send that was " well if you're going to, do this " .. not one bloody word. It was just common sense stuff. Write down the lot #, read the labels, read the ingredients, know what they're for, know the contraindications (and gave experience from my own life).. I thought surely someone would say 'gosh, good ideas " Nita (crew chief) and the crew: 15, Jon 13, 11, 9, 7, Christian (7/16/03 to 8/22/04), 2 and Isaac, 2/3/08 http://momof6.dotphoto.com <http://momof6.dotphoto.com/> for not necessarily current pictures http://nitasspot.blogspot.com Learn from the mistakes of others. Guest guest
Some like their oblivion! But on an autism forum??? They obviously cannot deal with it yet ( I did the same recently on a forum..mentioned the death/injury compensation from vaccines. And also why the uk nhs flu posters only mention hand washing, using tissues etc and vaccine as a 'preventative'- no mention of good diet, drinking water, avoiding sugars or any thing similar that would boost your natural immunity! A woman got all snotty that I was putting her at risk as she had cancer last year and cant have vaccines herself.. And that she ate a good diet and yet still got bowel cancer and now wishes she'd not wasted her time and ate anything before?! And that you cannot boost immunity with no sugars etc etc But...she was only saying on a previous post that after her eldest child she found out she wasn't immune to rubella, so had the MMR vax as she couldn't get the rubella separately -I think in around 2004. She had another child in 2006 and found out she has bowel cancer when he was under 1. It does make me wonder IF these 2 could possibly be linked, I know ive seen info on bowel disease after mmr -what about cancer???? To be honest I didn't reply as a) I have no idea if bowel cancer could be linked and I didn't want to be seen to be 'picking on her' and c) she has previously defended vax and standard medical practise as it 'saved' her, and is not open to any alternative view points, even when I post pretty credible links /stats etc. I do still post any new info that I think 'may' make others think twice that vaccines aren't the miracle they are made out to be..i know some on this site have not vaxed or are 'delaying'. I know I would have been grateful of this info before I vaxed my eldest kids 'for their benefit'. I'm sure there are always others that it may make them at least look at the info and make an informed rather than 'blindly trusting dr's' decision. In my eyes its worth the hassle if it helps one parent look at their childs health..
