Guest guest
Hi everyone...I spoke to a friend whose 13 year old daughter has been pulling out her hair, literally, a section at a time, while she is reading or otherwise focused. She wasn't aware of doing this and didn't believe it until her mother took her to the mirror and showed her after watching her do it. Apparantly the Ped said this is not unknown in teens, it has a name (sorry, cannot recall it) and is stress related, but they " grow out of it. " I spoke to her about some Brain Gym activities she could do with her daughter, but...of course vaccines came to mind. What does anyone here know of this, and is this also another manifestation of being vaxed and the stress just brought out the activity? She pulls it out after twirling it in her fingers and just drops it on the floor. I remember my sister doing the same thing although I do not recall any measurable hair loss issues. Am I reaching with this? Dogs do the same (minus the twirling even if there is no flea allergy indicated, and it is a symptom of vaccinosis. Thanks for you input.
