Guest guest
Hi, We've stopped vaxing a couple/few years ago, and eat healthy (local, organic, lots of vegs and fruit) but this year at least one of the six of us has been sick every month (colds, flu, seasonal allergies, stomach bugs). We've always kind of avoided allpath (?) med. When we've gone to our D.O. family doc this year, it's alway been " you're doing the right thing, liquids, rest, tea w/ honey. " At least doc's not pushing meds, but he's not helping either. Sorry I'm rambling, on to my questions. Can anyone recommend a holistic online group (books and websites too)? I have the following books, 'Alternative Medicine the definitive guide', 'Everybody's guide to Homeopathic med' by Cummings and Ullman, 'Vaccinations' by Romm, and Menelsohn's 'How to Raise..' I've been reading a lot the last couple of months, but am not sure what type of alternative care makes the most since to me. Help I'm floundering a bit. We want a new or additional health adviser, maybe as nutritionist (prefer natural foods, not supplements), herbalist, naturopathic (is this a general term or specific?), massage therapist, only a little homeopathic. Please help me figure out which direction to go in. Here's a list of " things " I'm interested in, but have a lot to learn about. flaxseed (oil, meal) probiotics apple cider vinegar grapeseed Vit C B12 bee pollen ecinasia aconite arnica elderberry teas Can be these items be purchased as a sole ingredient, prefer from food or from natural resource? Which brand(s)? When I went shopping for Ecinasia, for example, all the brands had other ingredients. Thank you, from land breastfeeding, homebirthing, homeschooling mom of four ages 2-8 years
