If I remember correctly one of your questions was about the specifity of labs. Each lab has their own specialties. Igenix excels in Lyme Testing. I have heard through the Lyme vines that Lab Corp is actually testing better, but for the time being, Igenix is the Gold standard.

I believe there may have been a question about Dr. S testing versus that in which I posted from Dr. Shoe. Dr. S is an environmental toxicologist, and Dr. Shoe is a biotoxin physician. The difference between the two is that Dr. S's testing tests for environmental toxins and genetic inherited familial tendencies in which would prevent the patient from processing the environmental toxins we are exposed to. A well known example by most is the G6PD. And within just this one example, their can be many variations, called mutations. Her testing surrounds this type of genetic deficiencies and also includes organophosphates, metals, bacteria, and fungi. But she also orders tests from my understanding that also centers around her research.

Dr. Shoe's testing is more towards how the body reacts to exogenous toxins as well as those within the body from disease and measures those effects directly through the immune complexes, antibodies, and other parameters I have already mentioned and posted those definitions to you directly.

I believe both have merit. I chose Dr. Shoes testing simply because it is published where as Dr. S's is not. I also chose his testing because of the direct measures of illness when one cannot get their ducks to listen.

As far as probiotics, I don't aspire to any one brand. And I also believe the methodology should also differ. Meaning pearls, yogurt, and lozenges all have their place for differing reasons. Pearls would be able to make it through the stomach and proximal upper intestine, and are able to better help the next two thirds of the small intestine. Very little would make the trip to the large intestine. Yogurt would expose the throat, esophagus, and stomach. Lozenges would better target the mouth, throat, and esophagus. For the large intestine, then retrograde application, or enemas. A high count, and refrigeration, as well as several kinds of bacteria in the probiotics are desirable. Here is a link to what I posted here three years ago.

As far as the other stuff, you can get lost in all that, but eventually it is something you may want to investigate and learn.
