Guest guest
We had much better results when we sprayed with orange plus vs the other stuff you mentioned. I would suggest wiping or scrubbing after vacuuming whenever possible... rather than simply spraying, People have sometimes been successful with food grade Diataneacious Earth and Roche Prufe... and with Tempo Sc and Bifen and Gentrol. but you have to get rid of the rodents or you will have mite forever, along with whatever other diseases the mites impact. This is likely the MOST serious part of your situation. If you have rodent mites they will reproduction into the trillions quickly with mice present. They are similar to bird mites. z3 > > I started reading the messages that were at the beginning of this forum. > I read about using Dawn and it killing these evil creatures and I have used the arm and hammer but just wondered what is different? > I am needing to do more wall washing and the ceilings will only take so much of his spraying so I want to be sure I use the best things. > > Also husband went out and got a dog that is in our garage he has been to the vet and taken care of but later the dog ran off for a few days. > It was bad timeing to do this but he is here to stay. > We got a outdoor pen but it is not up yet. > I had put some flee powder on this dog a couple of weeks ago. > This moring I saw some big fleas and I don't need this worry and it looks like I am goin go have to take care of this problem. > Besides the Hartz and the pour ons what can I do? > I need to wash the garage floor and I am afraid to wait until in the morning since I don't know how long pup has had these fleas. > What would be the best things to wash the concrete with? > Everything in the garage gets blown into the main part of the house. > The garage has T111 sides so I can wet them there is saw dust from cutting the new flooring and I think that makes things worse. > I thought when the kinnel is up we could use cedar shavings. > WOW all this on top of the mice and my husband just does not stay on top of these things. > Sandy >
Guest guest
I truly believe that you will never be able to reduce the mote population as long as you have mice. You may kill some but they reproduce faster than you could possibly keep up with and the eggs can hatch out for a long long time... > > I started reading the messages that were at the beginning of this forum. > Sandy >
Guest guest
I agree, The only thing is we don't know when the mice are gone. We don't know when we have gotten them and then we start seeing them again. Does this mean that you think these could be rat mites? If my husband cannot take care of trying to trap these then maybe we can find a local company to come by weekly. sandy > > > > I started reading the messages that were at the beginning of this forum. > > Sandy > > >
Guest guest
It's important to keep looking and looking until you figure out where they may be getting in. Traps and poison the ones already inside. Look in the subarea, the attic, check the vents and chimney... z3 > > > > > > I started reading the messages that were at the beginning of this forum. > > > Sandy > > > > > >
Guest guest
Well stated . Once the birds or rats are gone the mites can't reproduce... but adult bird mites can live for years off human blood. So it may take a while to determine whether you have been infected with any other diseases from the mites and can be soooo confusing. I don't know how long rodent mites can live off human blood. We think we have been given some odd disease cuz now we seem to attract mites from places that are not OUR own environment. z3 > >> > > >> > I started reading the messages that were at the beginning of this forum. > >> > Sandy > >> > > >> > > > > >
