My Mom, my daughter Montanna and I went to a family reunion in Wisconsin on Thursday July 2nd, finally came back to Minnesota Wednesday July 9th, and just since Tuesday we have had 2 911 calls for my Mom, she was admitted to the hospital (I was a paramedic at 13 years ago) in Rice Lake, Wisconsin Tuesday to Wednesday afternoon because of difficulty breathing. She was discharged about 4p Wednesday and we set out for home, and by just before 7p she was in her 2nd ambulance in 36 hours only this time she had completely stopped breathing. She is currently in the ICU at a hospital not far from my house. My Mom is doing better today, and if off ICU status although the hospital is full, so she is still in the unit. Tomorrow we are having Montanna's 6th Birthday party (she actually turns 6 on Tuesday the 14th). So I have been running around doing stuff for that all day yesterday and today. We were expecting about 10 kids or so to actually come and so far there are 21 kids that have RSVP'd that they are coming... have I lost my mind?? That is the abridged version of my week, hope everyone is having a good week, and I will chat with you all after tomorrow night if I survive.. ha ha! Guest guest
I have been gone from the board a couple of days. I have been training at my new job and that ends on sunday. They have already scheduled me for the next week and it includes some split doubles. I have had to study and they seem pleased with my performance, so I progress. When I have gotten the chance, I have read a few posts and am again very behind. I have also been working on something of my own as well. See this link. http://lymebusters.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=rash & action=display & thread=13949 I believe I have identified collembola as well as actino/streptomycetes in some of my samples or petris. I have sent for an ID on the collembola as I do not know what species they are. I am also working on getting a lab identification on the streptomyces/actinomycetes. Hope everyone is well. I seem to have caught a break and "seem" to be improving. Frito
Guest guest
Actinomycetes is one of the agressive bacteria found in environments in which have water intrusion. Along with amplified growth of mold in the environment, along with the mold is bacteria. And the bacteria become amplified as well. So its not a question of targeting you specifically, it is a question of you being exposed to the environmental fungii and bacteria and subsequently developing disease due to that exposure. All the belongings in the home exposed to this will carry the toxins, the spores, and the agressive bacteria as well. Because of the toxin exposure, as well as just the exposure to the fungii and the bacteria, a person in that type of environment will develop disease. The actinomyctes/streptomyces that occurs simultaniously with the water intrusion and upon enough exposure to the occupant, if they succumb to this, will produce a substance called geosmin. This is the attractant to bugs. This can manifest dermally and what is scary about the actino/streptomyces is that is can dessiminate into the blood. Bacteremia, streptomyces. Constant outflow of geosmin. Constant attraction to bugs. With bugs comes more exposure to other disease as they have been proven beyond a reasonable doubt to vector disease. This is in the environment. In which I tried to show on lymebusters. They are using these fungii and bacteria as biocontrol agents on our food crops. So it is there. I have found this (actinomycetes) all over my house. Yes, you understand correctly, those that I listed at lymebusters, some are used to derive antibiotics from. For example, Ivermectin is an avermectin antibiotic. It is derived from the fermentation of streptomyces. They use antibiotics in our food crops as well to fight the fungal diseases and such in our crops. It is in the environment and in huge quantities. Anything used in agriculture is of a huge quantity. You said you can only capture images on your skin. Have you been able to get images from your environment. The many photos I have posted have both what is coming from my skin and in my environment. What I have been able to identify and compare, the same thing that is in the environment is also in my skin. The structures in eadh look identical, except for the granulation tissue reactions from those from my skin. But even with that present, the structures can be identified. Am I mistaken for a fungi reach soil medium. I understand that these things are used in deriving antibiotics such as Streptomycin, Mitomycin etc. Please continue to enlighten me on this subject. I also went to the LB site. I can only catch them as images with my microscope on and under my skin and in body cavities. Guest guest
I am working on that. I am trying to figure that one out still. Will have to address the actinomycetes, but I don't have a plan yet. I first want those professional ID's before I start treating anything. Guest guest
Aw, thanks Rose. Sometimes the old noggin' doesn't want to comprehend much. Does that happen to anyone else? I think the Lyme Disease is really taking its toll. I sorta feel like a year and a half on antibiotics did nothing. Energy is zilch. YOU are very kind. Guest guest
Frito, I do not have central air but there is a air exchange system for use in the winter. Probably time to ozone treat it. I'll order some Thieves oil and give it a shot too. Dr S. says to take a few drops in water daily too. Hope your liking the new job. B > > I have been gone from the board a couple of days. Guest guest
Frito The crawling lessened, my home smelled better, in general I felt better health. My home had a definite odor while I was infested infected. I had heard that bed bugs had a sweet soured smell I had blamed the odor on the insects, now not really sure. Less headaches and sinus issues, also my chest, spit up lots of sputum. I had actually been diagnosed with copd, I believe this was the infestation infection. I had a audible wheeze before the mms1 and also had pneumonia with a fever of 104 in jan 2006. I also noticed the springtails became less attracted to the house. I always found it strange the springtails were everywhere outside around the house but not in the barn. This process since I was using activated saucers in each room took weeks if not months. However with the new products coming on the market it should be simpler now. I am also going to use my tri jet fogger with mms 2% solution. I still everyday activate 10 drops on a saucer in the basement and main level. I have a 2500 sq ft home not real air tight and this has never bothered me or the pets, 2 dogs one cat. > > > I have been gone from the board a couple of days.
