Guest guest
If you were in a support group in the real world (as opposed to online) and someone brought up a concern for the group to offer advice (that's what support groups are for, as far as I know), and 2 minutes into the talk some guy jumped in to talk about his problems, I'm sure real life people would think how rude and inconsiderate. I've been to many groups before, like Alanon, and depression support, and civilized people actually respect it when a person brings up a concern and time is allowed to comment on each member's concern. It shouldn't be any different if its the Internet. Especially that there's no time restraint, or space, the thread can last forever and there's so much room for each person to start 100 threads a day, so bringing up your problem into an already started thread is completely unnecesary. And with regards to name-calling, rude or selfish are not insults, but rather adjectives describing someone's behavior. Or how else should one word it?Sent on the Sprint® Now Network from my BlackBerry®From: Goldstein@...Date: Sun, 6 Jun 2010 17:27:18 +0000 (UTC)<bird mites >Subject: Re: Re: Name calling is counter-productive andhurtful. And while the other guy's situation is similar, it's not the same thing, as I'm going on a 16hr road trip, he won't be that close to any family member for so long. Ever since he posted, my situation ceased to exist. If people at least had posted to both of us, it wouldn't have been a problem. But its like, the moment he jumped in, I got kicked out. This is so obvious but then again, this is how the forum works, right? So shove it.I wouldn't be so pissed if I was just asking about vitamins or protocolos, but this is the life of someone risking it all to help me.Sent on the Sprint® Now Network from my BlackBerry®From: "Zoe" <zoe_z3@...>Date: Sun, 06 Jun 2010 19:12:47 -0000<bird mites >Subject: Re: Name calling is counter-productive andhurtful. Guest guest
JessI responded to your post and said there Is no way that you can insure that youdont give this to your family. And that is the truth! NO WAY POSSIBLE. I think you know that as does everyone else. You are taking a huge risk. I don't think your not getting anymore response was because no one could tell you anything otherwise. I had nothing to do with taking over. When you ask how can I insure I can stay with , take a 16 hour road trip with...and not give this to my family. The only way that you can be certain not to give this to them is to stay home. I read where a guy gave this to his mom through the mail. I think you are looking for some majical answerthat you can go see your family and there will be no danger of them getting this but there is not one. Rose, you must have her mixed up with some one else. I talk to Trish a couple times a month at least, just a few days ago as a matter of fact, and she is just fine. For all the people she has helped treat, she has not gotten anything. Bobby > >>>> > >>>> So there's no precautions, nothing they can eat or wear to lessen the chances.. Guest guest
Hi Lynn,Thank you for the help. If they take questions from people I think I'd definitely be interested in asking them a few questions. Do they charge for it? I imagine they must get tons of people call or write? By the way, my psychiatrist never got it from me and I've been in his office for a while too, though never for 3 hrs. I don't get bites in his office either.I kept asking if he was ok, and he said he thinks its all caused by my prescription (Parnate + Adderall) and as soon as I stop it this will go away.. Which I doubt bc I do have samples of critters and he saw the small burrowing holes in my arm with a magnifier, so its not delusional parasitosis.Anyway, sure I will take the info if you can get it for me. Thanks a lot.JessSent on the Sprint® Now Network from my BlackBerry®From: "Lynn" <torpedolynn@...>Date: Sun, 06 Jun 2010 21:54:23 -0000<bird mites >Subject: Re: Name calling is counter-productive andhurtful. Guest guest
They are all free if you make it quick. Dr s you can email but keep it short and to the point. Trish you have to ask for because sometimes her assistants answer. On Mon Jun 7th, 2010 3:29 AM EDT helpnynow@... wrote: >Hi Lynn, > >Thank you for the help.
