To finish my post, I don't know why I am no longer a big attraction to whatever this was that I was attracting. I believe they are still in my environment. I think they still land on me. I know you posted this before, but I'm lame and can't find the info in older

posts so: Is the amount of Anu water 2oz twice a day? How long did it take

before you has a reduction in symptoms?

The Anu water I purchased smells just like strongly chlorinated water. Is this

a no, no when on Dr. S's protocol? Just wondering if anyone knows.

Have you changed your diet at all? I want chocolate like

crazy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but I'm trying to be good and avoid the

carbs. :-(

I drink 2 oz twice a day. I feel bad even suggesting that it was the anu. But that was the only thing I did differently. I completely quit all the cleaning and spraying after lesions left only showered once a day. Only wash sheets once per week vs every day. I am 95% better. My guess is the anu but I don't know for sure. It could just be a coincidence that I started the anu and healing came soon after. Rush, I am so glad you have spoken up!! I have thought about this too and would like to commiserate with you. I think here, at this site, the Morgellons and the birdmite issue have been lumped into one thing and this creates a lot of confusion and tension.

Birdmites although many may be suffering from other arthropods that are here due to morgellons, but birdmites and the other ectoparasites should be considered a seperate entity. Even though many have suffered an infestation prior to developing morgellons disease. I didn't say in that last statement they are not connected. But what I am saying, is in the event you have birdmites or other ectoparasites in the environment, you will have to treat your environment in order to rid them. In the event you cannot find these ectoparasites, and one then refers to the morgellons condition, then treating the environment until the wind blows won't help in the fight against Morgellons. Does this make sense? But birdmites and ectoparasites must be treated for and a good sound effort is due in identifying if it is the problem or not. I knew we were fighting mites the first

time even though I couldn't get an ID to save my life. I was getting them off my body and could see them in my scope among other things.

In another post, I posted that our first birdmite infestation predated the occurence of our lyme, bartonella, more than likely rickestsia, fungal issue and morgellons. The only thing that predates the birdmites, is the water intrusion and mold issues in our former home. We have gotten rid of these nasty birdmites twice now, but Morgellons remains. In my own personal case I identify morgellons with the left overs of these damn mites. And Morgellons can improve without treating the environment like you would birdmites.

You mention the family. Again, two seperate entities in considering this point. in the case of birdmites or others, I do know that some of the others will choose a human over their "preferred" host about 30% of the time. At this time, the 'experts" can't identify the reason why. it is this scenario that makes me think either bacterial or fungal infections. Because this is what some of the others are attracted to. In the case of birdmites, this could also be true but none of the "experts" can say for sure or not. But with most birdmites, they will take a bloodmeal and are very adept in hiding in the environment. of which this makes ID'ing them sometimes very difficult.

Another consideration in this particular aspect is the genetic difference between those in the family, and this I suppose could be identified with the above references as well, but there are huge implications to that of Lyme and company, pronicity of developing fungal infections, bacterial infections, reactions of the body to mold exposure, differences in cytokine responses, and Morgellons to name a few and may explain in the morgellons arena why some get it and some don't. AND also apply to the above mention of the 30% in which the behaviour of the infesting ectoparasite may prefer one family member over another.

It is much easier to understand the whole of it all for me to seperate the entities even though they have occured in succession and may be all part of the same process. I hope you don't mind me participating in this thread. I think you should speak up more often.

My gosh don't feel bad. This is what makes the whole birdmite versus morgellons issue difficult. But even though the science may not be there for some and really, both viewpoints of this issue are important and certainly acceptable, but if it worked for you that is great. You know in the Lyme forums, not everybody suffers the same symptoms and durations, nor do they all treat the same way and even they find that what works for some doesn't work for all. Some ideologies are proven by science and some are quite subjective. Its all good because diversity is what helps them as a whole group. So if Anu is good for you, stay with it.

I'm curious if you tried the IR sauna or any of the Dr. S protocol or the 3 pt

plan? If yes, what were the results? Did you try a different approach in general

Hey LynnYeah I was pretty bad at one point. I never got really sick like some so for that I'm very lucky. Yesterday I felt a little crawly for first time in a while. All it took was to wash my face with the new hope and leave it on and all the crawl stopped. Even the little bit I had on legs stopped. When I stopped trying to clean up my enviroent I also at about the same time quit the multiple baths too. And it was funny, I didn't notice any difference if I showered only once a day, vs several baths, only washed shhets once per week vs everyday and quit attacking my environment. The thongs I have are tiny white and they fly. I still see them, they just don't have much effect on me anyMore. ZoeAt one point last summer I had access to a very good fir sauna and was taking two saunas per day. I think it was helpful but still developed the lesions on legs. I didn't do anything really different except pretty much quit trying all the new stuff. I just didn't want to buy anything else, anu was given to me. After lesions healed I quit all the baths and just showered once a day, washed sheets once per week. Quit spraying etc enviroent. I didn't feel any different In not doing all of those things. My guess to all of this is that I had some type of fungus, Candida?? Who knows but something got rid of whatever the big attraction to me. How long did you use Anu water for before your lesions healed and you stop

getting more? I may try it... but...

Dr.S. was concerned that the chlorine in the Anu water would interact with nano

toxins in the body and cause them to harden and be difficult to get rid of. I

don't know if I have a nano-infection or not though. I just know this started

with bird mites and turned into some internal as well as eternal. I wish I was

less confused!!!

It seems like I have a fungus or bacteria or virus which is causing the lesions

or causing something to bite me. I don't have any fibers and I don't have any

black specks and neither does my husband. Our lesions look like a serious case

of folliculitis and they often begin with a prickling sensation. Sometimes they

begin as just a small red circle of skin.

I hate this not knowings what the heck is going on and the bite-like things are

very painful on the chest and in the ears so it is impossible to just try to

ignore this.

I want to try the Anu water cuz we haven't had a lot of success yet with the

Sauna and all the MANY supplements... But what if we do have nano-particles

inside that harden w/chlorine... Yikes...

I wish there was some way of know what is causing this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ZoeI don't know what I had in the beginning. I initiall thoughit was just stress. After a few months I we t to a derm who diagnosed Me with scabies. In the beginning it was small bites that were in clusters started on stomachs then spread to back but process was fairly slow. Like I mentioned before it seemed to go to one area at a time. I had gone through several gibes of perm so I probably killed off the initial infestation not sure what it was. It took about three months for me to see a significant decrease in lesions. I took the anu for four months but seemed to continue to get better after I finished the anu. I don't know anything about the nano particles, you may want to contact Trisha Springstead at Esp. Dr.S. was concerned that the chlorine in the Anu water would interact with nano toxins in the body and cause them to harden and be difficult to get rid of. I don't know if I have a nano-infection or not though. I just know this started with bird mites and turned into some internal as well as eternal. I wish I was less confused!!!

It seems like I have a fungus or bacteria or virus which is causing the lesions or causing something to bite me. I don't have any fibers and I don't have any black specks and neither does my husband. Our lesions look like a serious case of folliculitis and they often begin with a prickling sensation. Sometimes they begin as just a small red circle of skin.

I hate this not knowings what the heck is going on and the bite-like things are very painful on the chest and in the ears so it is impossible to just try to ignore this.

I want to try the Anu water cuz we haven't had a lot of success yet with the Sauna and all the MANY supplements... But what if we do have nano-particles inside that harden w/chlorine... Yikes...

I wish there was some way of know what is causing this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Zoe I don't know what I started out with but it seemed to end with the whit flying things. I had the sand creatures as well. I had sand creatures but nothing that flew I could see anyway. Lots of black

specks and the piercing like bites while infested.

Not sure of all the ingredients but I'm well and I didn't have to go through all the sickness of mms. To each his own but to avoid all of that is worth it to me.
