Guest guest
I stumbled upon a UV-C light sanitizing wand in CVS drugstore. I then researched the UV-C light technology. One company makes a number of products: http://www.germguardian.com/. The best prices I can find for this company's stuff is at Costco.com One user said the Mayo Clinic uses them. UV-C has been around a long time and used in hospitals since 1908. There are other companies that claim their products will kill bacteria, viruses, dust mites and even bed bugs. There is probably a wide variety in power outputs of all these products so if one small one doesn't work, maybe a bigger one will. I researched this site and found only one saying the UV-C did not work on killing bird mites and another saying it did. Not enough exploration and these two probably contradicted each other due to product output. Let's check out the possibilities.

Guest guest
A long time ago I purchased a UV-C wand and found it is not powerful enough and takes too much work. I then purchased a powerful UV-C bulb and put it on in unoccupied rooms. It works somewhat well for rooms without carpet or too much furniture.
